Hi
anyone got one of these? I can't find one anywhere.....so if you want to sell yours because you don't use it, I'll have it, as my front porch is getting a right old mess after a muddy ride. Is there an alternative? I've seen the wet suit mats, but not keen on them...
cheers
I ordered a Gloworm Aplha Plus and an extra 2 cell battery from Luminous Light Systems | Luminous Mountain Bike Lights at 11.07am yesterday (Dec 7th) and it arrived today at 11.55am (Dec 8th). That's one day shipping from Greece using DHL.
Other companies, please take note!
Light is as I...
Never mind the brakes, whats with the log fire sound effect in the background (or is it a stuck record)?
The guys can ride right enough all the same...
I put one on the rear last week, but ride was cut short before it started really due to mates crank nearly falling off (with stripped threads) on his non e bike. So will try it proper on Wed, all being well....
Gloworm are having a Black Friday discount, saving 20% plus free shipping. Code works world wide.

I am nothing more than a happy Gloworm customer. ?
It didn't, unfortunately. Was applied near perfectly as well. Leaked around the spoke holes and at the rim joint - maybe if I put a tube in overnight it might've been OK. The wider tape was a last attempt and if that didn't work, it was back to tubes....so glad it worked.
To anyone else looking for a recommendation, the WTB tape (which I think is Tesa 4289) has worked flawlessly for me. 5mm wider than my rim ID and it sealed first time.
I also bought Tesa 4289 but cocked up at the checkout and ended up buying the 19mm stuff. A fiver if anyone wants it.

Well, what a nice experience changing out my rear tyre (unlike @steve_sordy ha ha*).
My old Nobby Nic broke the bead extremely easily using my hands, and came off with one tyre lever ran round the rim. The new Shorty went on with no tools at all - I fully expected that to be a bitch as it's the...
It's also very good at turning your previously black bumpers, wheel arches etc on your car or van back to black.
EDIT - damn - I was beaten to it I see.....as always.
Big shoutout to www.freewheel.co.uk. Not only did they have the best price by far (£38 for a 27.5/2.5 120tpi DD Maxxis Shorty - free shipping as well) but it was ordered at 1.30pm yesterday and was delivered around the same time today.
