Chain vs cable for bike security

Chain, without doubt - preferably rated Sold Secure: Gold. I use a couple of the Kryptonite Evolution chains and ground anchors. I fully expect a determined and well equipped thief could make their way through most deterrents, but I like to think my setup would buy me enough time to make it out...

    Looking for a good jacket/coat

The hood is HUGE, but it can be controlled to a degree via a pair of drawstrings.

Decathlon STILUS Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike - SRAM SX

It’s most likely to be the hole in the tape for the valve that’s the problem... too big, wrong shape etc You could retape that bit, or cut a small piece from an old inner tube (10p piece sized, but oval so it doesn’t interfere with the bead either side), poke a small hole in the middle and...

Is there a "BEST" elbow guard ?

I like both the knee and elbow Bliss pads. Sure, they’re not going to offer the protection levels of some of the bulkier offerings but they’re very comfortable and I’ve found the protection more than adequate.

Easy now. I’m sorry you feel trolled... in no way was I questioning your technical prowess. I only posted a link to a battery thinking you might not be aware of it. Good luck with your battery ?

    Slime Smart Inner tubes

Bikes could well be stuck in storage or on the shop floor for months on end, by which time any sealant In them might well have dried up. I doubt you’ll need a compressor, I’ve converted dozens of wheels and have never needed one - best tip to get the tyre to seat easily is to use a plant sprayer...

    Slime Smart Inner tubes

The ‘TR’ in the tyre you reference above stands for tubeless ready. Most tubeless ready tyres state as much on them.

    Whyte e-mtb

Phil, It’s one of these. Don’t get too excited though as it doesn’t quite get the back wheel far enough off the ground for it to rotate freely... Ibera Easy Utility Bicycle Stand, Adjustable Height, Foldable Mechanic Repair Rack Bike Stand For Bicycle Storage

    PPE

The one on my Giant was piss poor... how it lasted 9 months is beyond me. The cover on the SL seems watertight if a little flimsy. The Whyte cover seems good - it’s just a piece of fitted rubber but it is on the upward facing part of the frame just above the motor, so it’s unlikely to get...

    Whyte e-mtb

This is the only one I’ve taken and I probably didn’t consider the background too well... it blends in a bit. I like the colour, looks great in the flesh (last bike was bright orange though so maybe I’m just enjoying being slightly less conspicuous).
