We've re-designed the Turbo Guard to eliminate tire rub almost entirely. We added a silicone band and a zip tie
(I know, it's not supposed to have any) to hold the Guard away...
Webike, that's a great idea and totally Will Approved! In order to ship them all over the world affordably (for us and the customers) we send them flat but bending them before installing is how I do it on my bikes and the hairdryer heat would actually set the curve so it would be further away...
Pyro, I've been hesitating to mount a front fender as we carry our bikes on a Thule rack which clamps on the front tires. Thule recommends clamping as close as possible to the forks which I think would mess-up the fender or at least the connection to the fork. Is this an issue with the RRP...
I put the final version of my Turbo Guard product on my bike. There have been 5 or so iterations of it and finally it's done, clears everything and keeps the crud out. Have had plenty of chances to test it with over 5" of rain these past several weeks.
I like my version. It's called the Turbo Guard and uses no fasteners but the 2 Specialized provided with on the 2019/2020 Levos and Kenevos, They're for sale here
