The 'shims' are the pins used to change the drop length of the post. So you buy the 180 dropper post and adjust it to 170 or 160, or keep it at 180 depending on how it fits in the bike.

That’s interesting, my lbs measured my large Levo and checked OneUp site, then told me the longest one that would fit was the180mm. I would love a 210 like @dobbyhasfriends, I’ll Have a look again tomorrow, be great if a 210 does fit.

I have a 2019 large Carbon Comp, but mine came with an X-Fusion 34.9 dropper with fitted. Interesting that yours came with a shim, I thought it wasn't recommended, but if Spesh use them it must be okay. I've been looking for a 180 dropper which are limited in the sizes available in 34.9, so...

I have one in the motor compartment of my Levo and it works perfectly, it's in a rubber case and plastic bag.

Tannus has been in both tyres for 2 years now with 1 puncture, which was a thorn in the sidewall somehow. I'm also using Slime inner tubes with help too. I've pulled a couple of long thorns out close to the sidewall and seen some slime come out before fixing the hole. It's not for everyone...

I had something similar on an iPad Pro a couple of years ago, Apple just replaced it saying it was a hardware fault. I'd book a appointment even if you didn't buy it from an Apple store, they tend to just replace them or give a huge discount on a new one.

My non drive side is the only one that I've removed, probably 5-6 times in 2 years. The threadlock is still there and seams to work its way into the tread, even though I've never added any myself.

Mine are exactly the same, and always have been. They have thread lock on from the original build at the shop, which might be a cause of the binding. I always assumed they were meant to be like that.
