I've not been there since the new climb was made, but apparently you need full power and it's steep(ebikes only). It will take you to the top of 5he mountain where many of the trails start. The C5 route goes starlight up from about half way and bypasses the old route which went around the...
You'll find that 50% of people there are on ebikes. I believe they now have a steep direct route to the top of the mountain specifically made for ebikes. This will be quicker and use less juice than doing the beast of burden or any other routes to the top.
Nah maan, I'd rather go swimming and pay the 10 pence to charge me bike. Got no interest in cycling machine. Cycling is really boring unless it's in the 3D terra firma.
double down casing will completely slow down the rolling of your wheel. It's more the DD than the assegai tread which is creating your 'drag'. DHR tyres will be the same if you get DD casing.
As long as the top end of the down tube is blocked water would not get in there.
It would make manufacturing of batteries more expensive, so I doubt it will happen.
The more modules the better if you ask me. It can easily be done by just having separate groups of the same voltage. So you can just keep adding more AH (parallel groups). It could be bricks of 36v and 3ah, approx 100wh per module...... Or similar layout. If it were 6ah at 36v you would...
I always assumed it was a moderator that changed them into 'personal titles'. I thought that Steve must be in the Surrey Hills gang to get his WIZARD name? His own personal title and he's still too mean to pay a subscription.😉
Should be fairly easy to get down to 22kg if wanted.
Modular battery, DIY motor care, and big top shelf suspension make it a winner in my book.
Do we know any figures on geometry?
I injected sealant through the valve when putting in a Rimpact insert and the sealant ended up squirting back out when I took the syringe off. There was nowhere for it to go due to the tight fitting of the Rimpact foam. Rimpact themselves recommend that it's poured in.
