Jesus, there's been a few taken in the Bristol area. I really have empathy with you and know exactly how you are feeling right now as I had a 12 month old modded levo taken from my garage over a year ago and it wasn't insured. I had to learn the hard way.
Max terra compound rolls much better. I went from max terra exo casing front and rear DHR to front n rear max grip double down casing and the difference was very very noticeable😆. for me the rear grip made no difference but the max grip up font was confidence building. But then again Ii've...
I found that letting the air out using a shock pump left air on the negative chamber. Use the shrader cable direct… carefully and slowly got all the air out. The X2 needs lots of fine tuning to get the most out of it. It took me months.
I like a super grippy front tyre. And as it’s going on the front it will be less draggy than if on the rear. I would go for the grip compound and not worry about the difference in width which is very very minimal anyway🤷
Getting both initial stroke sensitivity and mid stroke support seems to be the hard thing to get with an air shock. I have a fox X2 and its a very very fine balancing act being able to get an amount of both. To get a good amount of one you lose the other. 🤷♂️
I bought a brand new 2019 levo for £3400 two weeks before the 2020 arrived in stock. I spent about £1000 on it and then it got stolen. All within 12 months.
Then got a 2020 levo SL expert for 6k which was a 20% discount.
You win some, you lose some.
it will be a very long time until I...
seriously... I have found KY jelly is the best lube for getting on motorbike tyres. That and two or three heavy duty long steel tyre levers. Small diameter wheels like 16" and a fat knobbly tyre can be quite a challenge.
I swear by KY jelly for stiff rubber on stubborn rims, which of course can leave quite a mess. So I tend to clean up spilled fluid by pushing it into any gaping holes or slits that don't close up on their own. No other solvents of detergents needed🤷♂️
The uplift passes are always booked up at least twoweeks in advanced. Pedal passes only are usually available, but best to book the night before you go so you can fill in the paper work in advanced and avoid delay when you get there. But I bet you can just turn up. Parking can get busy if...
