My 2021 SL came stock with the Guide RE. I found them to have plenty of stopping power. However, they lacked the modulation I like. So I am replacing them with Hope tech 3 e4 brakes.
It's a Garmin Edge 830. It connects to my SL so I can monitor my battery level. It also detects my AXS shifting and tells me what gear I'm in. I'm a big fan of Garmin bike computers.
From MTBR: "Generally, carbon does a better job of damping or absorbing vibrations from trail irregularities, while aluminum transmits more of those vibrations into your hands." I went from stock alloy on my Comp Carbon to Enve M6 carbon bars and stem, and agree with this statement.
I have not taken the downtube battery out...yet. Pretty sure that my next move. I'll just use the range extender battery, since most of the time I'm riding unassisted and rarely use more than 20% of my main battery on my typical 2-hour ride.
