STUnlocker (ex Shimano STEPS Unlocker) Android & Windows App for derestriction/market change and etc

I have also used STunlocker many times succesfully, and now I have EP801 and this is (currently) only supported by eMax and supports the new Shimano firmware with carry-over function - works great.

    Firmware Update 4.3.0

Hi there, I did the same some days ago and is very happy. But I used the medium carry over and natural cut-off (opposite of your setting). I have full 85Nm at my disposal, but I set it at my usual settings: Speed: 32kmh (max is 50kmh) Wheel size: 2150 (to get the most accurate speed in the...

    Orbea Rise 2023 M10 -> upgraded to Di2

Cool......I have the same bike and did also the Di2 upgrade (with 11spd Linkglide) I've raised the speed limit from 25 > 32 > 30, which suit me perfectly. Your bike looks amazing....good work. Did you try the AutoShift function ? I've used it quite some time (give it a try) and fiddling with...

eMax software tuning works excellent with EP801. Currently on 1500kms without issues.

    Rise only with range extender?

The main battery IS replaceable....just not fast. Your LBS can replace it if needed. The range extender will be used before the main battery.

Does multi-tool come along with Orbea Rise?

I think you have to go H10/M10 or better, to get the tool with the bike.

Orbea Rise Battery reporting as 540wh in app

If you weight the bike, you can tell. Difference between the 2 batteries should be ~0.8 kg.

Hot melt wax - the journey begins

I'm also on the wax-chain-thing... I start by cleaning the chain in a ultrasonic cleaner - 15 minuttes and it's VERY clean. Then I dry the chain (compressed air/old hand towel) and continue with the slow cooker with wax in it - same process as OP. Very happy with the result - and rotating 3...

New rise 540 instead of 360

The new M10/20 is extremly poppy....even with the large battery. I ride 32 kms with the old M10 (2021) and RangeExtender - and I now go the same distance with M20 (2023) and the large battery (with the same motor presets) I recommend that you keep the large battery (it's not that large anyway).

    Orbea Rise Range Extender

Short answer: no. But if you have some percentages left in the main battery, it will work.

Would ep801 put you off buying a bike ?

EP801 is stronger than EP8 (600w vs 500w) and 801 is more silent. For me personally EP801 was unusable, because STUnlocker dosent work, and I need it to support 30-32kmh. So it was great news to me, that eMax can get it to work....and it does. EP801 also supports automatic electric shifting...

Autoshift on the Shimano XT di2 + EP801

I use it on my 2023 Rise (11 spd) It works quite well, and it's quite funny to play with the settings.

Replaced 2021 M10 With 2023 MTeam; My First Impressions

With emax we have changed (I am in EU): - speed limit raised to 32 kmh (actually lowered it to 30 kmh recently). - lifted max torque to 85Nm (but still lowered to 56 Nm in the bike settings). - max watt lifted to 600 watt (but lowered to 400 watt in the bike settings). - changed wheel from 2300...

Replaced 2021 M10 With 2023 MTeam; My First Impressions

Nice comparison.....I have allmost the same bikes, and like both. But I agree....the 2023 feels better to me...and the balance is better (lifts the front more easily). Freeshift works well (it's hard to see when riding, but it works in the stand) I had my motor tweaked by emax (STunlocker...
