On this bike I had the same issue with the hub - and since it was a Shimano hub, there was no HD possibility. But I had some spare wheels with the correct hub, så I could mount the linkglide 11-spd casette.

I have used the emax function and gone from mechanical to electric shifting. The error is gone and the shifting is working.

I'm also talking to Markus from emax - same stuff. It might be that the bike is "locked" to 12-speed casette and has to be unlocked by Shimano, ot accept the 11-speed casette...just guessing.

I use it on 2 bikes, and I find it good. It's cheaper than the 12-speed it replaced.
