Its 5mm2 ( equivalent 10AWG ) speaker wire. Why speaker wire, very high copper content with low impedance but still very flexible to wrap into tight corners if needed. Should be good safely to over 40 Amps but with 52 volts we should never see that.
Just get one of these built. At 780Wh and just over 3kgs, mine has been superb and I think for probably the first time, a set of cells may just exceed manufacturers specs. The M600 motor doesn't seem to mind the 58.8V's fully charged and together with short cranks makes a really good combo.
Thanks, sadly they cannot list any trails unless official bridleways and right of ways. The area is full of unofficial routes which although not official, seem to be condoned by the land owners.
It’s the linking routes and more XC routes I’m looking for.
Guys, heres a handy gearing calculator site, remember to be really honest in what speeds and cadences you want in your terrain ( every body will be different ).

Living in old 1635ish building I got to say its myth, spiders seem to not be bothered by them.
Now we have a couple of these guys though, although my cat seems to be doing his best in keeping the grey squirrel population down locally.
You learn to ride uphill routes you wouldn’t even contemplate on your analogue. When you get to the top the only reason to get to the bottom again is to give the uphill another go.
EBikes double your fun factor, uphill is probably as much fun as going down.
Sorry but calculating a vertical climb from a battery is an almost pointless thing to do in comparing motors, there's just to many variables that makes it almost meaningless.:cautious:
Old hat mate, buy yourself a Bafang M600 motor, already wired and ready if you want to fit one. Shame about their user interface which is about 3 years behind Bosch, but at least they don’t rattle and most parts available😀
Sadly my M600 motor went from the get go and I’ve not needed to learn too much about them. However we can connect my battery etc to eliminate most things, PM me and we can discuss about a meet up.
Chiltern Hills where I ride are a set of hills in the County of Buckinghamshire, England, nothing to special other than probably in excess of 300 miles of different single track trails, all from my back door. All easily accessible by all from the wonderful English Bridleways and Footpaths...
Really, so you are saying one only gets cred if you put video on line, as in your case, of some mediocre riding down some where at a place called Whistler. It would only take bar a few clicks on the likes of YouTube to find far more informative vids based around the O P question and about 1 more...
Sorry I can't really concur with your thoughts as I've always believed the tyre pressure is your base from which you then set your suspension accordingly to the riding conditions. That tyre pressure in my view really doesn't change much ( just adjusting maxim grip ) as you could get into the...
So you are saying anecdotally that the vast majority of riders here on these threads do not know how to set up their suspension and or the majority of suspension units are crap ?
I'm not sure on that as if it were the case, it would be far easier for us all to just go and buy a Fat bike whose...
Has it got to the stage where Bafang are unwilling to support the DIYer through the risk of being fined / unable to sell engines due to the risks of eg EU law infringement ( speed and power ) combined with wanting to increase sales by linking up with major manufacturers, who will inevitably want...
I thought that was what the early part of the suspension travel took care of, low tyre pressures just take care of the amount of moldability of the tread around obstacles, meaning grip in my book, which is why we all went tubeless and now run lower pressures than yesteryear ?
