Mike, you maybe better looking over on Bafang M500/M600 thread where there are a couple of very knowledgable guys on there ( CiDi for one ) who have already logged the CAN signals. They may be able to save you considerable time.
There are number of replacement screens, have a look at 20.55£ 45%...
Guys be a little careful with seeing 42 volts on a voltmeter. Although there is volts on the line, there may not be enough current flow ( power ) to be able to power up any of the motor processors to begin the power up routine ( which includes powering the display.
You may need to put some...
It was missing for a while but now back on the EBay site.
Not sure about the L but I think when I bought my E10 there wa sonly medium available, they slowly bought on the other sizes over about 6 months.
Note the size of batteries ?
With the likes of Vitus selling a lot of the M510 motors with only seemingly a minimum of support, then the need of a servicing agent may just come around quicker than we may think ?
If you just say look at the M series only, you wouldn't need to carry much stock ( few parts seem to fail...
Bearing Man, when are you going to offer to service the Bafang M series motors, they are being used more and more on major brands, can be a very good motor, but do suffer with the usual bearings and water ingress of the muddy UK winters along with all other brands. All parts are available, but...
Hey Zim, has Neeko stepped on your patch or something, bit harsh, I thought this was a free forum where people can state what they like and peer reviews will either debunk or condone such witterings.
Guys be a little careful with gearing and gut feelings. Think of how torque is either magnified...
Be interesting for you to get yourself onto say a Zwift static setup where both cadence and power output is measured accurately and recorded. I was a tad dissapointed to say the least how little power I could maintain at anything above 90rpm. Sure short bursts but anything prolonged forget it...
Could that be more down to the rider not able to transmit force onto the pedals at higher cadences ? Certainly I don't find that at all and if the power curves are to be believed, then that should not be the case. You yourself claim the M510 works better at mid cadences, it maybe valuable for...
29er front wheel on 170mm fork, exact degrees maybe a tad "approx" but as my and I suspect your inclinometer is +-0.1degrees then expect a bit of latitude. To be honest my lardy riding style would not be able to work out the difference between 1 degree let alone 0.5 degree head angle.
Not sure why the need for such long travel at the rear, if you mullet the bike you get that nice head angle of about 64 degrees. Go the next step and fit a plush 170mm 29er fork set at about 30% sag with a relatively firm rear 55mm travel shock ( 25% sag % ), no offsets and you have a pretty...
OK further info. It would seem its the BESST tool itself. The version I have is BESST.UC 3.0.3 BSF33.05. Should this work ?
I have tried to update the tool on line but neither BESST Pro or BESST will read the unit nor get into the Update section.
Another clue is that the tool powers on ( red...
Guys, having a problem with using Beest. Its the first time I've used this Beest Tool and on this PC. It would seem that the Beest tool will not connect to the controller. I'm pretty sure that the controller is OK, its new ( I need to calibrate it ) and when connected to the Beest tool the...
Good looking 170mm travel with ability to have both 504 and 750Wh battery internally, already enquired to availability, I fear my EZesty maybe up for sale.
Why the need for FS ? Just stick to 26" 4.5" tyres and you have all the suspension you need + all the grip you need in the soft terrain ( snow and sand ) where you will be riding it + reasonably short chain stays.
If you want to ride on hard surfaces then why re invent the wheel.
Thanks
Local LBS's are not very helpful in these sort of matters, most don't know the basics let alone the more advanced areas in the Bosch software.
It would be so handy if we could get some App that " reads " your motor's full settings rather than an abbreviated part of.
