So I fitted a Planet3 rear wheel planetary setup today and I finally got my speed to match. Initially I looked down and speed vs GPS speed was way out then I remembered I needed to to adjust the speed multiplier to 1.5. I set the wheel diameter back to 2300mm and speed multiplier to 1.5, no...
Is pretty easy and you don't need to remove the motor.
- unbolt the lever and the little clip thing where the line exits the top of the frame
- unbolt the rear brake and the 2 line clips
- unscrew the brake line from the caliper and cut off the ferrule and remove the nut
- insert a 1" nail...
yep, sit one wheel on a time and drag the brakes (don't lock them up) and get the brakes nice and hot. Do a couple of heat cycles but don't cook them. One of my rotors was real noisy before but a good heat cycle and they make no noise now, plus work fantastic
19/20 you can't change the max speed. You can change the wheel diameter though within limits but that won't change the max speed, only the speed indication
.
I fail to see why the indicated speed isn't the same as the GPS speed (when in the open) as the magnet to wheel diameter speed calculation...
Man i get some pedal strikes on my 19 model. Surprised more people don't complain about it. Smashed my leg good today when the pedal stabbed the grip bolts into it during a strike.
Is the axle in the centre or offset? pic shows it offset.
Is it rubbing the frame in the last pic?
is the back of it recessed for the ice tech rotor 6 bolt patter? I found when i installed the stock magnet on the ice tech and done it up tight the magnet bent the rotor. I had to run the magnet...
I measured it off the bike, but tried both minimum setting 2200mm (from memory) and maximum 2400mm. 2400mm was the closest to GPS but still 10% greater.
No idea if the odometer reading is also incorrect
How accurate are you guys finding the speedo vs gps speed? I found i need to max the wheel diameter to 2400mm to get them the closest and even then the speedo is 10% faster than the GPS speed
What are you guys with stock 19's using for wheel circumference? the Blevo manual says 2300mm but when i measured mine it was 2385mm.
also, looking for a cheap HR monitor that works with Blevo
