Looking at getting a e-storia for my gen3 comp alloy.
How are you guys liking them?
suggested spring rate for 100kg rider? I have seen some comments say the gen3 ramps up more and a lighter spring is required as a result
I'm 6'1 and rode a S3 yesterday and although the seat was pretty high it didn't feel terrible. I had a 19 Levo in L and it felt too long
I'm very on the fence with S3 or S4 for new bike
Mikerb agree, most of the other components will be getting changed out at some stage. The carbon didn't really appeal to me either was just wondering if I was missing out on anything by not getting the new TCU.
out of interest, why don't you like the carbon frame?
no I meant the little display on the top tube. The carbon model gets the new fancy screen and the alloy model gets the old display the same as gen2 models all had
Going about it the wrong way. Spring rate is all about supporting weight and getting correct sag. Damping is all for controlling stroke used. If you have the correct sag then you have the correct spring, if you are bottoming you need to revalve the compression damping.
Saying that I would love...
You only have to look at the pics to tell the P3 is a far superior product than the LSS. Guys only getting a couple of hundred km's before the gears wear that much they don't spin the magnet. Just looks like cheap junk compared to the P3. I'm yet to read anyone who has had the P3 gears wear out
