Giving up and having no personal standards around this is not the answer. Tech at this scale works by lots of little effects mounting up. There’s already much greater awareness that FB, Google et al.are not your friends and people are turning away from them. An example, when did you last log in...
Yeah as @R120 says these have been out for a while and that predates even the stuff we found in this thread. I’m sure we don‘t have long to wait for lots of new Shimano stuff.
Why not? There are waiting lists for many Specialized lines. Especially right now.
I’m expecting some announcements this week about 2021 models so not long to wait.
Apparently he owns 20% of JD Sports too (as well as a big chunk of Blacks/Millets).

Anyway, I’m not preaching here - more that it’s easy to avoid companies and still find what you need. Sometimes you might have to wait a few extra days...
There’s just the ‘ethical cost’ of doing business via Amazon then. That may or may not be important to you. In the same way I don’t give my business to Mike Ashley’s companies either (Evans, Go Outdoors, Sports Direct). Both of these organisations are cheap as they avoid tax and/or treat their...
The perception of how a bike rides is much more nuanced than this though. Distribution of weight and how much of that rotates plays a huge part too. You would be absolutely correct if you were just fixed in position and didn’t move other than to pedal, say if you were measuring the power on a...
On the Comp and Comp Carbon you can lose 250g straight off by changing the NX cassette. Change the wheels for some Hunt wheels and save 400-450g. Then save 300g by going tubeless. These are rotating weights so will have a comparatively bigger effect than losing static weight off the frame.
btw...
The full fat Levo update is due anytime now (my guess is for next Tuesday). There’s a link in this thread to a build from Trailhead Cyclery (I think) that shows the 2021 SL S-Works colour scheme suggesting these updates are on the way too.
I’m in the UK but been on the end of a FF waiting list...
Have a look through the Levo SL owners thread, there’s quite a lot of discussion in there about it that will help you.
For you, don’t even consider the medium unless you want a bike to flick about and have the skill to do that. I’m 176cm 30” inseam and the medium is too small for me.
And, you...
Yeah I’d expect the demand but it’s higher than I’d expected really. The bike is to complement my eMTB which is too much for the gravel where I live (I won’t be in the hills where my partner lives for a while). I’m replacing my road bike, supposedly :)
Oh well, time for a rethink.
This isn’t ebike related but I hope this is ok to post here. I’m currently trying to track down stock of a 2021 Specialized Diverge Comp Carbon 54cm in satincarbon/black (in the UK). Very simply, does anyone know the best way of getting status of stock of these? My usual bike shop has been told...
Aren’t the Shimano spiders/cranks asymmetric when 94 BCD. On the Gravel/road lines they tend to be.
Personally I wouldn’t get too hung up on the chainring that’s on there unless you want more teeth. These things reportedly mix and match much better than Shimano and SRAM are willing to admit...
Difficult to tell what you’re asking but I’m happy to help.
The bike is rock solid, no rattles. It handles everything in its path.
Range will be different for everyone depending on how much you use boost, your weight, terrain etc. I’m never left wanting though.
The motor is the E8000. Having...
I think comparing a £350 battery to a £60k car/battery is a little unfair. Expectations of battery life and degradation are much much higher for a car. I think degradation vs. convenience is the compromise most are willing to take for an ebike battery.
