I now have two rides with my Continental Der Baron Protection 2.4 Tires. Excellent wet grip. I run them tubeless. So much better grip in the wet and damp conditions than the standard tires.
I switched from the Specialized Butcher 2.6 tires to the Continental Der Baron 2.4.What a world of difference in the wet. The bike now has tons of grips over wet stones, roots etc.
They seem to be almost as wide as well even though they are sold as 2.4 tires.
Anyone recieved theirs yet? I am enjoying my 2019 unrestricted at the moment but I might like to update the software to the latest so the power meter works etc and then I would need the Velociraptor.
I tried a new sram pc1110 chain. One link too short, I also use a36t chainring so I really needed a longer one. Mounted it anyway but shifts where extremely poor. Two shifts on shifter shifted once etc. Will order a kmc chain instead.
When I look at the power figures I just see random crap. I will try smart power with my old bike firmware but I guess it wont work at all. I will order the Remote as well. Nice addition.
The Feeler gauges solved it. It was the perfect size to squeeze between bolt and TCU and bend sideways so I could undo the bolt. The nut is conpletely loose so I need to fit a new one.
Thanks you all for your help.
