I got the proper size from Haibike. It is m8x2.22, just in case you guys need to replace yours as well. It is not covered by the warranty according to Haibike. Luckily its easy to replace.
He was riding a converted Kona (not sure which model) with the Bafang middrive kit. He stayed in the back of the group since he was still trying to get used to the conversion. The guy in the dark blue jacket was riding an MTB: Yeti SB66 and he is over 65, the guy is a beast! We rode aggressively...
Luckily the real world is not like the U.S based public forums, it so full of trolls. The places we ride are confirmed legal for Class 1 Pedelecs, if anyone have an issue with that, they could go elsewhere. Trail access problems in Marin have been happening since the early days of MTB riding...
