After going to Sea Otter Classic and seeing the Meta Power in the flesh...it really got stuck in my head! Just pulled the trigger on a Meta Power for myself, I can’t wait til it gets delivered.

Why not? This is an open forum right? I will let this post fade away since it is too depressing, but I'm still convinced that an Emtb could have helped avoid situations like these in the future. Granted there are a lot of other dangers involved with our passion for riding.

Call Motostrano they are in Redwood City, Ca. They have the Lapierre Overbolt Carbon available for demo. I just returned it to the shop. Talk to Joe he owns the shop. Compared to my 2016 Haibike Nduro and my buddies Spesh Levo this is a better bike in IMHO. Awesome bike!!!

I forgot to mention the pretty much the most important spec: Frame Geometry I love to ride technical DH, and long flow trails. I usually ride Camp Tamarancho, Oat Hill Mine (Calistoga), Rockville, Del Valle, UCSC, etc.. Any riding spots that are within 2 hour drive is fair game to me.
