Rise is sandbagging. Mentioned that already somewhere else here in the forum. A german bike magazin measured the battery of the rise. Its close to 400wh not 360wh as labled. On the other hand tq lables it 360wh but its actually 350wh.
Starting to pedal is likely to cause some voltage drops that are propageted to the display and it seems to be very reactive to that. Not sure if this is normal. I dont hope so. Maybe ask others to check. I think TQ will have added something like support capacitors to filter out such drops. Maybe...
Yeah true. A shame they dont even have subtitles for it. However you can get the important numbers from the bargraphs pretty easy with only a little bit of google translate.
This comparison is so ridiculous not to say faked.
To compare one bike to another regarding numbers like range and power go to a lab and test all bikes standardized or gtfo🙈
Edit: This is how a serious test should be done
Flexibility of the screen is very limited since its a segmented display. But there is also a heart symbol and BPM on the display and some arrows that I haven't seen used somewhere. Maybe it will be possible to connect a HRM to the bike and control the support according to the heart rate...
How many molicel cells are used? Do the samsung cells have more energy storage? Did you already teardown the battery? Could you share some pictures? Really interested what the inside of the battery pack looks like.
I know what you mean. But the transition from no support to support felt even smoother on the TQ where as on the rise I felt that transition point more. However could also only be settings related on both bikes🤷♂️
To be honest I think the same😉Otherwise they would have discovered the holy grail.
I rode both bikes the Rise and the Fuel exe b2b on the same day and the Fuel exe TQ Motor felt more natural despite Orbea claiming they have this RS concept.
15.9kg... imagine how much lower they could go if they used the TQ-HPR50. The EP801 is 2.7kg. The TQ 1.85 kg. Bet TQ Battery will also save about 100-200g. So less than 15kg could be possible with the Rise.
