If the shock is a 2021-2023 model, there is a voluntary warranty recall and Fox will exchange it for a 2024 model. Contact Fox when you get the Shock to see if your shock falls under the warranty.
They really need to Integrate the HR data into the new app. until then, I’ll use the old Mission Control or have to use the old Garmin Edge on the bars again. The cockpit is much cleaner without a computer on it, when the built in Mastermind can do everything I want…. Except the HR data with...
Sent my X2 performance in for warranty today, they will be sending me a 2024 factory model to replace. The shock was still working ok, but when adding a volume spacer, there was a lot of oil in the chamber, and the air pressure was starting to drop as the oil and air chambers co-mingled. It...
I started out with aluminum rims, then found out I could use an old carbon rear wheel (NOX AM 275 on King hub, Sapim CXray spokes) with an adapter (142mm to 148 boost). Night and day difference for me on the rear wheel. It’s stiffer, doesn’t squirm around, tracks better and can schralp berms...
I’m going to try out the nex XTR 6 bolt rotors with my Saint brakes, 203 front and back. Right now the brakes are paired to the SRAM 9” front and 8” back, but those get a bit hot and it seemed the Saints worked better with the older, non finned, Shimano icetech rotors on other bikes I have. I...
For anyone in the States….. Anyone notice the speed limit arrives about 17 mph or so after the update? Mine used to cut off about 19 mph or so, but now it drops off between 17 and 18 mph….strange.. maybe it’s just my rear tire is worn down too much.
I’d imagine that the replacement motor is a rebuilt unit. If it is then I’d think more attention was used in the rebuilding, fully tested and such. I wouldn’t worry about it.
I went with the ‘22 expert. I felt it was best bang for the money as I don’t feel the need to upgrade components other than for personal preference (brakes, shorter stem, seat)…. I did change out the rear Roval wheel to a old Carbon wheel I had from the pre-boost days by using an adapter, the...
Worked for my forks! I didn’t take off the wheel though, just was a lot of work to extend the forks All the same. the Forks were totally sucked down after letting the air out, and when I felt the transfer port become unblocked with that grease, the forks would cycle up and down, rather than...
For anyone with the aluminum frame version of the LT link (the extra machined brace version), have you experienced any rocks or debris caught in the link bracing and hitting the seat tube?
I read that the XO1 lasts about 2.5X the GX chain, and the GX lasts much longer than the NX…. Google it and read up If you like.
there is the camp that likes to use the cheaper chains and replace every 500 miles, but I like to rotate 3 chains every 600 miles, and those 3 chains will go 6000+...
On my Expert Levo, when my GX chain wears out, I will replace it with the XO1 as they are supposed to last longer. No problems with warranty, etc. I’m also trying out Muckoff C3 dry lube for the drivetrain, hopefully it extends the life of everything! (I am in a dry environment)
