Good call on the tire sealant. Mine came with hardly any in the front and plenty in the rear. Had a flat front about a month ago when I found this out. I replaced the tires with Maxis and added orange to the new meats.
If you bought it from a good Trek dealer, they go over every inch of the bike...you should have to do zero to the bike. I looked over my Rail 9.7 when I got it very lightly. Lubed the chain, check tire pressure, got familiar with the controller...rode it.
I have ridden my 9.7 a lot with zero problems. But just in case, I use clear Gorilla tape over the battery case. Provides paint protection plus there is no way in hell it's coming off during a ride.
I bet the LPL could have that lock picked in less than 30 seconds...all the while explaining exactly what he is doing and what tool he is using. The guy is friggin incredible.
I literally just installed Maxis DHF's on the front and rear of my Trek rail 9.7 that had 92 miles on them. Had a front flat that I plugged and rode once but just decided to replace them anyway. I added Orange seal, kept stock stems as well as the Trek wheel rim inserts that come stock. The...
Hi guys...anyone with the Purion display looking at the new Nyon display as a replacement? Looks like a definite upgrade from the Kiox. I'm stilling using the Purion, but would love to upgrade to something more useful.
99.99% of people who would say cheat have never even ridden an emtb. Secondly, the very few times it was said...I kind of laughed as I went past them with ease. They get a nice view of what they can kiss.
Someone mentioned it, but I also use clear Gorilla tape on my battery cover. It's incredibly strong and since it's clear, almost unnoticeable. I have never had a battery issue of any kind, but it's darn cheap insurance.
I have a 2020 Trek rail 9.7. It has the Purion display. I like the Kiosk display better, but has anyone converted over to the Kiosk and was it much of a job? And, was it worth it? I went on the Bosch website, but it doesn't list cost or exactly how to convert over. Hopefully someone here can help.
Two months ago I was 95% ready to buy a Cube Stereo 160. I live in Wisconsin and the only Cube dealer is on the west coast. Fly and Ride I think. After negotiating a $200 discount (then adding back $100 for shipping) for the last one he had, which was a demo bike, I was ready to buy it. Then I...
I have only removed my battery once to replace a defective dropper cable and once for cleaning. When I ride I have clear Gorilla tape covering the frame and battery cover. So, mine stays very clean.
Hey guys...do you normally remove your battery to recharge or just leave it t in the bike and use the frame side battery port? I don't think it really matters either way as far as battery efficiency goes, but I was thinking the fewer times you remove the battery the better. Just looking for...
I LITERALLY meant...no kidding... as in it really does that? I was not being sarcastic at all. If I knew, I certainly wouldn't ask. But, thanks for the help.
Sorry if this has been possibly discussed...I bought a new Trek Rail 9.7 (2020) and it has the Bosch motor. Is there some kind of an app for this? I'm new to the emtb thing. What does this app do for you?
