    New to emtb

Congrats on getting your first emtb. You're going to love it. I was a long time moto guy also and like biking every bit as much as I did moto...probably more actually. Now, you're going to spend all your money on more useless crap than you ever did in moto. A lot of these things for no apparent...

    Rail 9.7 shutting off...finally fixed??

My 2020 9.7 kept shutting off...no power while riding. After 4 trips to the dealer, they feel it may be finally fixed. My bike was built without the battery truss. That's a long piece of metal connecting the top n bottom of the battery connections for stability. Well...it's installed now. We'll...

    Tires for frozen trails.

I ride quite a bit in the winter. Generall ride on fairly hard packed/somewhat icy/sketchy single track trails in the Mid West. I generally ride my Niner WFO with the stock tires and have been REALLY happy with the traction. I am pretty sure they are Schwalbe Eddy Currents. You can't lean hard...

Rail (750Wh) 2022 Bosch Smart 750 Trek Rail Thread

The Bosch is absolutely a great motor. But, boy do their controls suck. If they could get the controls like the Shimano, it would be a perfect set up. I own both Bosch Gen 4 bikes and EP8's. I have come to REALLY like the EP8. And the EP8 controls on my Tazer MX Pro are wayyyyy better than the...

Has anyone tried D'Cor bike wraps?

Looking to possibly buy one of their kits. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them. TY

That new bike smell is INTENSE...

So, I have always liked what they do over at Intense. Always wanted a Tracer 279, but just never got one for whatever reason. Then when emtbs hit I loved the Tazer, but did the same thing...never got one. Well, I finally pulled the trigger and bought an MX Pro. I drove 250 miles round trip...

    Fox Legion thermo gloves...??

I thought the same thing. Both gloves sets look identical in every way except color. Same tagging...everything. I got them off Amazon. One Amazon order states Fox Legion thermo ($35), the other just states Fox Legion ($30). Friggin wierd. Not the end of the world by any means, just confusing.

9.8XT keeps cutting out… no error messages

My 9.7 has done this from new. The battery connections theoretically shouldn't have been worn at all. Not only that, but my bike (battery area) literally has no rattle what so ever.

    Fox Legion thermo gloves...??

I ordered a pair of Fox Legion THERMO gloves a couple months ago for winter riding. I recently ordered another pair and mistakenly ordered just the regular Legion glove (not thermo). They look and seem to be made exactly the same. The thermos are like $5.00 more, but I can't see any difference...

9.8XT keeps cutting out… no error messages

That foam trick might be a good idea. I am letting Trek and Bosch figure it out with mine. I have a feeling it has to be in the battery area as well but just don't want to screw with hacking it. I have a Niner with the Bosch motor. I have like 50 miles on it so far with zero issues. So, this...

9.8XT keeps cutting out… no error messages

My 2020 Trek Rail 9.7 does the same thing. Simply stops working...sometimes the display stays on and the drive simply stops and then starts up a few seconds later. Or, the display also goes out and you have to turn it back on the make the system operate again. The dealer has looked at everything...

E bike specific parts are just a gimmick?

I stand on my emtbs probably 50% of the time or more. I come from a moto background though. I don't see how people keep seated all the time on any mtb. I have more control standing than sitting. Sitting is for steep climbs and some tight techy turns or cruising flattish areas.

    Kellys Theos F90 Arrived

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I can't get over that shock linkage being so low. That...is...not...good...at...all. I can't imagine that not being easily damaged.

    EP8 motor question

I have the Husky HC7 (EP8 motor) without the bluetooth connectivity display. Does adding the display for bluetooth add any power via the custom adjustments you can do? Basically I ride my Husky on wide open or max I guess all the time. Would adding the display and adjusting the profile do...

    SRAM brake question

I bought a Niner emtb and it has SRAM Guide brakes. I really do not like the controls and would like to replace just the controls. Any suggestions for good adjustable units???

    Will this fit?

will it fit? That's what she said. And to the gentleman asking will what fit... I believe he is inquiring regarding the pic of a RS dropper post directly above his opening statement. All that being said, yeah, I have no clue if it would fit or not. I just wanted to chime in.
