I just purchased a Polar OH1 armband monitor as it is listed as one of the compatible models in the Blevo manual and should also work with Mission Control. We'll see when it gets here ....
The max current of the SL is 7A but looking at all the rides posted the riders are getting about 1.5-2hrs use out of an extender battery which would translate to and average discharge rate of .5 -.67C which is less of a compromise. I agree that the lifespan of the smaller battery will be...
Sounds like you've made up your mind...now go get it while they still have it in stock!
or
Go with the LBS with the best support/service as they are all decent eMTBs.
I found that my air leak, which sometimes showed as leaking thru a spoke hole, was a problem with the valve stem not sealing well. I ended up having to pull the tire and re-seat the stem with a little sealant around the base when installing. I have also fixed a slow leak on a front tire that...
What would be great is for Specialized to drop 10 cells from a 504WHr battery and give us a smaller 378WHr as a range extender battery that would be great in a backpack!
Well I went ahead and purchased the SQLabs 611 Active to help with the lower back and hip pain on long rides, as it advertised and WOW, the difference is night and day. I've done a couple of rides to test, a 38km gravel/trail ride and 52km with it mounted on my road bike which gave me the most...
Well said and really the point I was trying to make! I think they will get better with each new motor design...which seems to be the case with Bosch and Brose/Mahle in the Specialized, but only time will tell! I think the key now is for manufacturers to support these existing systems with...
I have been trying several saddles from my other bikes because the Spec Phenom Comp was giving me troubles. During this I found the Spec saddle has a bit of flex in the center which I countered by raising the front a couple of degrees, compared to my normal seat angle that I have been using on...
Love the Specialized decal and headtube decal...really adds class to the naked aluminum look! The Pikes with the same treatment would be the shizzle...
I ended up adding in a set of Ergon GA2 grips in nightrider blue and some reasonably color matched Spank Spoon pedals into the order. Unfortunately the DebonAir kit is not in stock so might be a little longer wait for that upgrade...still have at least few more weeks in lockdown anyway!
Oh stop the whining... Up until a week ago we could not even go outside let alone go for a ride. Now we can ride all we want as long as it is within 500 meter radius of our home and with our mask on! 25 laps later, I feel like a NASCAR driver...pedal hard and turn left.:p
What did I do to my Levo today...
I gazed at it lovingly while wiping the dust from the top tube, imagining the day I'll be able to take her down from the bike stand and ride her through the dolomites and local trails of northern Italy.
Thanks for the pictures! OK, so from these it seems that water ingress is causing the majority of these motor issues with the belt being a less common problem...right? I see your replacement bearings have an added seal for the drive side to prevent water from entering...that, the new belt and...
Bearing Man, How many of the 5 Brose issues do you have fixes for? Are any replacement parts available, either from Brose or aftermarket? Do you think there are solutions for any of the issues that could be implemented by users or LBSs once out of warranty? How big do you think the repair...
I don't know if IOS has this feature but on my Android I lock the app to block it from Battery Saver feature and allow it to run interrupted in the background.
