Kinda drives me crazy to tell you the truth. I just checked and the S-Works is available too. I already have a Pro paid for and waiting for me at Mike's Bikes so I think I am going to stick with that. Also my local dealer said Specialized was sending them an S-Works in a couple of days but...
Good news is the my Pro is ready and waiting for me at the Mike's Bikes store in Folsom, CA. Can't pick it up until the end of the month but super excited. Looking forward to comparing it to my Heckler mullet. A given that I will see a big range increase but also hoping for improved technical...
Hey Specialized, thanks for the explanation. I do appreciate it. Have an order in for a Pro through Mikes Bikes. Hopefully no issues there. Good response to offer bikes to the buyers affected. For sure the right thing to do!
LOL:) We all have dealt with or are dealing with life challenges way more serious than bike purchase issues, but it's OK to complain about trivial stuff on forums sometimes. I plan to post some riding impressions once I get my Gen3. Particularly how the Gen3 compares to my SC Heckler. I am...
I totally agree with that! I was trying to order through my local dealer and the dealer was doing everything they could to help me but not getting much love from Specialized.
I don't think any of us feel entitled, just frustrated. I get that there is a big shortage of bikes. I had a deposit down with my local dealer to get a Levo in late fall/early winter of this year. Suddenly bikes are available online. Great! I buy one. Get a confirmation. All good. Tell my...
They already refunded my money. Thought better about the Bullit and now have bought a Pro model through Mike's Bikes in California. Will be driving to Folsom at the end of the month and will pick it up there. Have family that lives close by. Hope it works out!
The same thing just happened to me and I am extremely upset! Waiting for some sort of reply from them to make things right-that means automatically sending us a bike next time they drop on the website. Barring that I am so pissed I am back looking at the Santa Cruz Bullit.
I had put a deposit down on a Bullit right when they were announced and dealer told me July delivery. He also told me late fall/early winter for the Gen3 Turbo Levo but then they just became available now on the Specialized website so I bought one there and am having it shipped to my local...
LOL. I'm paying way more for this S-Works than I paid for my Husqvarna FE501 dual sport motorcycle, and that bike is considered high end. Probably the first and last time I ever get an S-Works. Plan on keeping this bike very long term, at least until a bike with solid state batteries and...
FYI I listed a Shimano 630 battery with the cover for the Bullit in the classifieds. Decided to cancel my Bullit order and go with a Specialized Gen 3 Levo so I have this never used 630 battery.
I've been riding a Santa Cruz Heckler for the last year. My skill level is senior citizen adequate:) My Heckler is a large and I am 6'2" 193 lbs. I felt the bike was a bit small. The Heckler is great on tight stuff and in general handles pretty well. Where I did not like it was super steep...

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I have been lurking on the Specialized website and holy crap they had a white S5 available, so I jumped on that. Having it sent to my local shop. Hope to see it in a couple of weeks. Sure beats late fall/winter!
Just switched my Santa Cruz Bullit order for a Gen3 S-Works Turbo Levo. Bullit was supposed to arrive in July, but Levo not until late fall/early winter. Huge bummer in that respect. All my friends are on Gen2 Levos and I am riding a mulleted Heckler. Last weekend was kind of the last straw...
ETA for my bronze X01 coil is now July. Frustrating. Considered jumping ship for a gen3 Turbo Levo but ETA for those is fall/winter. I still think the Bullit chassis it just what I am after. Should be a kick. Long wait though. I am 6'2" and going for an xl size.
In USA the Bullit X01 coil is listed for 11499
Levo3 Pro is 13,000 =1501 more than the Bullit
Levo S-Works is 15,000=3501 more than the Bullit
I sure hope Santa Cruz does not raise their prices this year!
