Yes it was the base model. I can't find a dealer that has the higher end model to demo. The first shop was going to give me last years base models and i had to say no because that would not give it a fair shot. I am going to look and call around this week to see i i can find one near me. I...
Ok so todays ride was a much harder trail. Got a little more comfortable on bike. Climbing was a breeze, still seems really heavy. Hit a couple of jumps and it was a little scary cause so heavy. not used to that. I think i am going to wait for the pivot shuttle and might look at S works...
so just took it on a short dirt trail near my house. It is not the carbon levo by the way. Power is great, Handling not so much. Also the brakes are extremely soft. Bike is too heavy for my wife. she was afraid it would not stop for her. I think i need to wait to see if a carbon demo comes...
So went to another lbs to look at kenevo and maybe buy it. Salesperson really screwed me up again. they just became a pivot dealer and said they should have some in about 12 days to demo. Think im going to wait and see how that bike rides and then make decision.
Something like that would be great. atleast so i can see the power level. I wonder if it was a european firmware on it. the shop just received the bike yesterday so i was first one to ride it
I think i like the kenevo, just need to learn how to tune the motor cause the shimano and bosch seemed to have more power, also they didn't slow me down like it had regenerative braking like the specialized did. they just let me pedal without assist when i reached top speed.
I agree with he display but it is nice knowing what mode your in. I rode the levo, kenevo, and jam2. I liked the specialized i think better. seems the shimano had more power though. the one thing i did not like was how the specialized would slow me down when i got to fast. with out display i...
ill look that up. will it tell me what mode im in? the display is he only thing swaying me towards the jam2. i imagine they are both good bikes so probably can't go wrong either way. thanks everyone for the help
i haven't seen either the jam2 or levy so looking at both today. Only thing i don't think i like about lego is no display on bars. I am kinda geeky so like to see things.
That app is something i am looking at also. I really like apps like that. When i ride my dirt bike i have a gps and can download other peoples rides so i can do the same thing they did. Does anyone have something like that?
Thank you guys, that magazine review was good, just wish they had either the cube in it or mondraker. I keep seeing the specialized some say that it has a rose motor and some have the specialized motor. are they the same motor? Also do most of them have bluetooth technology so it can connect...
Now to throw into the mix what about a mandraker ecarbon? How is the shimano motors. I assume they are one of the best because they build bike components.
thanks
I wa thinking after i found these forums that someone will mention specialized. I like the idea of getting the components that i want like you did but i don't ride enough to worry about that. What i do like is apps and electronic stuff so does specialized have better electronics then others...
Ok so just decided to get into emtb. I have been looking at Haibike, and cube. Didn't know what i should be looking for or if something different would be better. Looking to spend between $6,500-$9,500. Mostly ride single track and some downhill. Have a santa cruz nomad now that i wanna...
