Tbh I thought it was high I've never had a wattage meter and I've been a service eng for 20yrs lol I use multimeter insulation tested and oscilloscope occasionally but never wattage meter ? I just did the calculation and came up with 920w I'm off googling now thanks
Hi all I'm buying an inverter to run my charger for our up coming Wales trip from my sums my giant 6amp charger draws 4amp input x 230v is 920w biggest inverter I can find is 6000w peak which sounds great but it's continuous output is 1000w rated at 2000w do we think that will power my charger...
As a side note alot of stuff about spoke is misunderstood the laser is actually alot stronger than thicker spokes like string or race there tensile strength is larger but they will snap easier once that limit is reached where as the thicker ones will stretch and keep the wheel together ? Pros...
Hi that's unusual as there expensive but tbh my good wheels are made up from hope pro4 hubs sapim laser spoke halo rims and there great bike feels so much more lively with them on compared to stock ?

Ha this sizing thing always gets me I'm 6ft6 with long legs short body and long arms but I ride an XL 2019 it's 485 reach now on a bike I'd like 500 but it's 24kgs so I don't need the reach for stability and the chainstays are enormous at 470mm so u r in the middle of the bike the shorter reach...
Hi I run a trance but I've upped the fork to 160 and took the spacer out of the shock so it's 147mm now my head angle with phone angle thingy measures 64.5 there's really not much in it the trance is 160/147 the reign is 170/141 mm if the trance is alot cheaper I'd go that as there's nowt in it...
Hi I believe the spokes used are sapim string tbh I've always used sapim most wheel builders do as tolerance is better DT Swiss are designed to use thread lock so not as tight threads but sapim doesn't hope this helps ?
