On this page it's not a 2018 model (10 speed, Recon fork, dropper post).
JAM² Plus
You mentioned the weight difference but I think these 2 bikes have a similar weight, around 22kg.
I would choose a bike with the same battery that your main one, to have a spare on hand if necessary.
If it's of no importance you should choose the bike and not the motor.
Thule (and probably others) has a model which hold only the wheels: Thule UpRide
With 20kg capacity it's ok without the battery but not sure I would try...
The S-Works is 21kg, no?
I'm also skeptical but it's clearly written "17,85kg garantiert +/- 100g".
Motor: 500g
Wheels: 50g
Tires+tubes: close to 1kg
Dropper post: 150g
Saddle: 115g
Fork: 300g
The frame is also apparently lighter but how much weights a carbon frame like this?
All the Brose motor didn't have the same connection and parameters possibilities. Specialized is the best for this.
With Bosch you need the Nyon display to connect to your phone. Or the Cobi interface.
At the bottom of this page you will find the characteristics, the main difference is the torque.
Everything you need to know about the motor for Bosch eBike Systems.
No, it's a standard Shimano battery. But there is carbon everywhere.
Even the "low end" with "only" the frame in carbon has a decent weight of 20.5kg (€5'500).
Very pleased with it.
All the informations I need. When I'm back home it connects by itself to upload the new data to the Bosch server. The tracks with data are available on the website and also on the app. Works well with my Rhythm+ heart rate monitor.
