I have wired it in to the positive terminal, this allows it to run all the time, using the lighting switch allows you to turn it off, from my knowledge.
I have not done anything with the magnet/ sensor are you meant to take this off or change it some way?
Have installed the speedbox1 Shimano on my Vitus, I keep getting the error code W011. can anybody help, I have watched the vid and have does what it says and nothing,
From what I found the cable is not held in any location in the frame, it was pinched between the frame and the motor. To remove the cable you don't have to open the casing at all. Its the torx bots that you need to remove, the motor pivots on the rear 2 blots and its much simpler then it looks...
I had a similar problem, the whole thing was not moving at all. I ended up replacing the whole cable, as i tried using force and it just messed it up more (n) To replace its a drop the motor job but its very simple and its just gear cable.

Have ridden mine a few times and discovered the other day a 5p sized chip that has been coloured in. Rather annoying. Its on the underside of the top tube half way down.
I noticed this on mine yesterday and did concern me, was going to post something this morning. be interesting to see if this is normal or a problem fingers crossed not a problem.
All sorted managed to get to Halfords before it shut and have replaced it. its deff a drop the motor job but really not that difficult. From looking at the original cable it was ran really tight in between the motor and the frame. Works like a dream now thanks
