This one as it tucks it away next to the bar stem, not hanging out the front, waiting to get smashed off in your first tumble.
Came off a Focus Jam and was around $20 AUD, sorry was the only pic I have of it at work
I'd go the Cube as it has the Bosch motor and a mate bought one from 99 Bikes and they are on special there at the moment. Also comes with a 750amp hour battery which is a bonus.
Had the same Merida but a 2019, loved it but motor bricked itself after 3500km, bought a new motor as out of warranty, and that too played up so sold it...
And bought the Sam2 6.9 and absolutely love it, the difference in the motors is AMAZING. The only down size is it's a couple of kg's...
To be 100% sure, rotate your wheel until the valve is at the bottom, chalk a mark on the floor, roll bike forward until the valve is at the bottom again, chalk and measure between the two marks. That to me is the easiest and most accurate way to measure wheel circumference. Just make sure you do...
There you go and it's even made in the UK so that'll double your chances of finding it over there.
NP158 Matte Latte sounds like the colour and even tho it's matte it looks great, I did buy some gloss clear too to put over the top if it stood out too much but have never thought it was worth it...
Mines exactly same colour. Will check it out tonight for you, but going by what I saw when I was looking for the correct colour, I ended up just taking a photo on my phone that looked exactly the same shade when put alongside the bike and then went around chemists, make-up shops but ended up...
Have a Sam 6.9 in the 'Espresso Brown', if you're only trying to touch up some stone chips, I found a nail polish that is pretty much a perfect match. Took three attempts to get the right colour but at only $2 each it's no biggy on the wallet and the results where fantastic.
Just changed the whole crank assembly from my mates bike into my bricked motor, with the torque sensor still on it.
My mates motor was making a racket and all worked out well, my old motor which was silent and just stopped dead, now has his torque sensor and crank in it and is silent and up and...
'hmmm now how do you REALLY feel about shimano? so there is a torque sensor that might be replaceable.....at least i might know where to start. thanks for heads up'
No there are no replaceable parts available for purchase from Shitmano, no one will touch them for repair either. Think you can...
The Shimano motor is supposed to run at it's best with a higher cadence or "and when i spin easily" but as Zimmer suggested and with my own experiences with shitmano motors, the torque sensor is a major Achilles heal with them. And there is nothing worse than an intermittent fault. Good luck...
