What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

Hey mate, hit the trails today and had a blast. As mentioned DHR2 front and Rekon+ on the rear both in 27.5x2.8. i think there is a marked decrease in drag which will be nice for commute and possible increase battery range. I'll say I'm no professional rider, but no notable loss of rear grip...

What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

Update... I've ordered a Maxxis Rekon+ 27.5x2.8" dual compound 60tpi. From what i can work out the Rekon tread pattern combined with dual compound rubber should roll nice and quick. I'll see how it goes next weekend... should be a good compromise for speed/grip with the DHR2 on the front.

    EOne Sixty Newbie tips

Yep, good call haha. I ask because i have read the plus size tyres can be a little different as far as pressures are concerned with what i am otherwise used to. Bearing in mind i am quite new to mountain biking in general so only chasing a ballpark to start at so I'm in the right range. I am...
