I think I actually did order the one you are talking about. It was just labelled slightly differently on the website. Fingers crossed it solves the issue!
Maybe I’m looking at this wrong but that seems strange to me. The reducer converts a 1 1/8” steerer (as per the Boxxers) to work in a 1.5” headtube (which the Kenevo has) doesn’t it? The one you posted above would be needed in a standard straight 1 1/8” headtube, right?
Cool. Thanks. So a CC Series 40 1.5” to 1 1/8” reducer crown fits well with the stock bearings?
I still haven’t been able to locate the 2020 expert headset specs. If anybody has them (or a link to a suitable Cane Creek 40 I’d be very grateful!
@Christian this could be an alternative to the Hope one mentioned above but a bit easier to find in stock in Germany at the moment. Question is, should it not be a reducer crown rather than a straight 1 1/8”? Does it work with any headset or only CC?
edit: this for example CANE CREEK crown race...
My 2020 Expert produces an off-putting juddering sensation from the front end on bumpy terrain. It is as if something is loose.
I initially thought it was the front hub, as with the front brake engaged there is a slight amount of play or ‘rocking’ that that be produced, however I am pretty...
Need a bit of help guys. I’m currently mid-brake swap and I’ve disconnected the rear brake at the lever, attached a spare bit of cable outer to use as a guide and now i’m trying to pull it out the frame. I’ve removed the headtube cable guide, loosened the two around the rear shock and removed...
I’d certainly give it a go if had the 38 available. I do really enjoy the Boxxer and the directness of a dual crown fork but the turning radius (or lack of) can get annoying in certain situations.
I do get some ‘knocking’ or ‘creaking’ from the motor whenever I try to set off in a high gear on trail or turbo mode. Could be that that you are experiencing?
Doesn’t matter how little pressure I apply to the pedals to get it going, it makes this sound and what could be described as a...
Thanks again! The leakage I was referring to though was from the hose that remains connected to the calliper. Does nothing come out when it is pulled through or pushed through the frame?
Thanks Christian! Daft question coming up but I’ve never messed with brakes and internal routing before. If I split the Code R or the new brake at the lever in order to pull the hose out of the frame or push the new one through, is there going to be fluid leaking everywhere? I don’t have to...
