For the longest time it was the 2019 Kenevo, as it would do everything. Then I got the S-Works Levo and put on the cascade linkage and astoria fork and shock from eXT and it is a whole new level and my favorite.
It has been a few years since i first tried my first E-Bike after discovering Rob on EMTB on Youtube. Since then I have gone through a few different bikes. In my area in the U.S. there is nowhere hardly to rent or try one out so I have been buying and trying to see what feels best for me. Me, 60...
to this day I do not understand why they needed to limit it on power except for the range anxiety that people get. I am not sure if many ride like I do, but I ride in ECO almost all the time, but when needed, I want that turbo. I think with the option to have a turbo, they would be flying off...
Hard to find a whole lot of input on the EXT for sure. I have never had a push, so I will only tell you what I have compared to. Compared to what I currently have which was Bomber, Fox 36 and Fox 38, it is much much more small bump compliant and big hit bottom out resistant. At 222lbs, this is...
Truthfully, that is a much harder pick. If its gonna be a downhill day it would probably be the 2020 Kenevo. For trails and just really hauling but through the twisty trails it would have been the Norco. I just got the Trek last week so I dont have that one completely dialed in for me yet.
really good pics Rob. I was hoping you'd post pics of yours up close. Like another contributor commented, do you feel that it could enable entry of foreign material to the headset enough that it should even be a worry about premature wear etc?
you're right there. They are all very good bikes, but to have them to do side by side comparison has been great. Time to thin the herd a bit, but I do have another one I want to try, but sure wish I did not have to buy for sure. (not a good financial move at all)
Thanks for the reply. Not a binge night for sure LOL. Since Everything looks good in the APP as far as exceleration, I think youre right and I should not ignore the whining. It would make sense to use more battery if there is a drag on the motor from something. To the shop tomorrow to see if...
I went to ride my 2020 Kenevo today and the power seemed greatly reduced. Specifically, if I put it in Turbo, still felt like it was trail. Went into my app and the Turbo Power level is at 100% and Trail was at 65% so it wasn't the programing in the APP. The other thing that I noticed was it was...
Could never find places to demo Ebikes and wanted to try more than one, so this is what I had as of January 13th 2021. Right to left: 2019 Kenevo, 2020 Kenevo, 2020 Norco VLT Sight 27.5 C2, 2019 Levo S-Works, and a 2021 Trek Rail 9.7. I try to educate as many people as I can on the trails and...
Here is a picture I found on another post showing how the fork has a smaller crown which does not blend in size wise with the frame. As you can see, the crown of this fork is smaller. The OEM forks on the Trek rails are larger and they blend in with the frame.
I agree with you 90%, and that other 10% sure would like the fork crown to blend in with the Frame like it should. My other bikes currently run EXT, but thought I would try something different.
