hi everybody,
i've been having issues with my bv6000s - i'm an android noob, so it could be operator error, but i think my memory is full. and i think that's why paolo recommends the bv6000 - more capacity.
also - the process of downloading the maps ahead of time was quite teadious and now...
both all the way open and it's not just stiff or damped, i cannot move it as hard as i try. if i try to even rotate the shaft, i can a little bit but it feels VERY stiff. thank you cozzy
have you ever gotten a new coil shock and tried to slide the shaft in and out just in your hands? i can't get it to move. surely something is wrong here...
that is a fun loop - 2017 levy 500wh battery - did the whole climb up clementine from under the bridge to the ridge in eco. but i had like 30% left. next time i won't be so hard on myself! looks like you lapped culvert ya? rode the second half with a couple older dirt bike guys on 2017 levos...
never, not ever. first sign of trouble i'm heading for home/the shop.
i've pedaled my bike with a dead battery a few times and it is misery
you are indeed doing it wrong sir!
so, i just received my fox fan from winstanley's bikes - shipped from UK to CA. i am unable to push it in or out at all. i can twist it but just barely and it's super stiff. is this normal? this is the funniest post i've ever made but i'm so not laughing! (reddit?) i'm really hoping i don't have...
im in california. my 2017 levo is still under warranty until july. (2yrs) luckily, was able to buy from my lbc and they’ve been great. battery failed, no charge, no hassle and had my bike back in a week. now, my wiring loom is being replaced under warranty, but it’s been over 2 weeks!!! i could...
i not only raised my 140mm up to 160mm but now have a 29" front tire on and some pretty tall bars. has done nothing but make me more comfortable. still have good weight on my hands in pedaling position, and feel much more confident and in control. really steep climbs do require more effort to...
i'm in the process of FINALLY jumping in to coil up my 2017 levo. i got the vorsprung smash-or conversion kit for the pike and setting at 160mm travel. And I found a 7.5" x 2.0" fox van for the rear which fits with the bike yoke bike yoke. i'm 200 lbs in the natural and about 210 in gear. the...
what maps are you guys using these days? (especially in nor cal)
i was using osm hike bike and i was happy with it. it was tedious downloading the tiles, a slow process w my bv600s, but it worked well. then recently, i’ve been unable to download tiles and areas that i had previously downloaded...
aloha paolo et al ? i’ve been away from the thread for a little while. i see you’re considering a new handlebar device. im still pretty happy w my bv6000s - it’s a little inconsistent w basic functions, but maybe my fault as i am accustomed to apple. also, the maps work fantastically, but the...
thanks steve - perhaps my lbs tried to be helpful and added a token or 2 when they serviced it. so, that could be it. but, even so, the tokens affect the last part of the travel ya? and where im feeling the harshness is in the initial, small bump high speed damping area...
i think you make a...
hey @Levolized ! thanks for all the info. one question... when you say the 27.5’s were from your original bike, do you mean a previous year of levo? i mostly ask because i‘m thinking of trying 29’s on my 2017... swappy mc swapperson???
on my 2017 levo i run 2.6 hillbilly and i love it. but when i got my fork serviced this summer, i upgraded the internals to the debonair and pushed the travel from 140 up to 160mm. weird thing is, the front tracks about as well as it did before, but feels more harsh. i’ve got it sagged past 30%...
