Most cycling kit is overpriced rubbish, it's much easier to stay warm and dry on the ebike because your not generally sweating has much as you do on an unassisted bike. I'm seriously thinking of trying some of these if the weather turns bad enough...

I like my Met Parachute, light and well ventilated they also do a convertible version but thats a bit more spendy...
