yup. I installed one myself. Not to difficult. Remove the shock and a couple of guide plates and run the housing. The hardest part is getting the cable housing the right length. No special tools needed.

Why is everyone so stuck on using kmc chains? Is there nothing else that would work like a sram?

I kept it at 150 mm of travel. After running it for so long I didn’t see a need to increase the travel. But who knows it might be fun to try.

A short ride is all it took for me figure out I would be pushing the fork past it’s limits. I noticed it would flex more than my Yari I had on my old stumpjumper and it didn’t have the plush feel of it ether. So I made the decision to swap the forks out.

So now that I finished with all my upgrades and got the bike dialed in to my liking. Here are a few pics of the transformation.

Sorry for the lack of response. I was waiting on a few parts to try the install. Im hoping to give it a shot this weekend. I’ll post up as soon as I do.

Oh look what showed up today. Can’t wait to get it installed.

These are the ones I just ordered. 950mm front and 1800mm rear. But I’m going to come them down to the same length as the stock ones.
