    Decathlon Rockrider E-ST900

I'm running a 38T. Max pedal speed on the flat was around 22mph with it's original crank. Now I max out at about 28mph on the flat. Bike still pulls well up really steep hills/valleys where I live.

    Decathlon Rockrider E-ST900

These seem to be getting some good user reviews. Not changed my pads yet, but might get these in for winter service. (y)

Run a search through Amazon for the pads or Tektro TKD32. You will get a lot of results and prices look reasonable.

    Let's see your bike cave

Mines like a bombsite at the moment. However, recently fitted an upright wall mount in the back corner which is a nice bit of kit and frees up a lot of space. Got a second garage just going up on the side, so hopefully can turn that into a workshop and keep this one gym/bike based with turbo...

    Rockrider E-st 900 changes upgrades

I have the 38T installed on mine, following on from your original recommendation. Definitely an improvement, as gone from maxxing out at 22mph to 27mph now. At what speed to you turn into a demented newspaper delivery boy at with the 42T?

    Rockrider E-st 900 changes upgrades

Not good. I don't use the Decathlon shop and not been in for a service, as the nearest store is over a 2 hour drive for myself. Hope you get it sorted, as your input and upgrades on this model of bike has been really helpful.

It's supposed to work with Fantic if you look at the App in Playstore. one reviewer states that it doesn't though. It's a free download, so nothing to lose if this is the display you have.

    Rockrider E-st 900 changes upgrades

I have an intermittent metallic noise that can come on the straight as well as on a corner. I've not really investigated it, as many others seem to have it. Not done anything with my forks other than I lock them on tarmac and unlock them when going offroad. However, my adjuster on the bottom of...

Bike Park Wales - Takes your breath away

I live very close to Bike Park Wales and a close friend of ours is a Nurse at PCH. When working, her weekend at A&E basically consists of rugby players and what she describes as older men like myself who don't bounce back up anymore when they fall off their bikes. She means that in a nice way...

Has having an Ebb changed your view on having a battery car?

Looking at buying a new van that I intend on modifying the rear interior. This will be something I intend keeping for at least 10 years. Looked at the Volkswagen T6.1 electric and it's absolutely pants. It's restricted to 56mph with a range of about 80 miles. This is not enough to get me to at...

Hang the frame upside down on the exact opposite side of the tube to where it is now. Mark the holes, then drill and tap the same size thread. Put a touch of etch primer in the new holes you have drilled with a modelling brush, although you could probably get away without doing this. If you...

    Rockrider EST 500 (900) error 70???

This is all I found: ERROR 70/71/72/73 = TORQUE SENSOR ERROR Switch off the bike and switch it on again. If the error code continues to show, go to a Decathlon workshop.

    Exercise

Can't fault Stronglifts. Really good progressive system. You'll be back where you were with that in a fairly short period. I usually alternate between Push/Pull/Legs and 5x5, as they get me in and out of the gym within 30 mins. Got a 23 year old Saracen MTB set up on a Turbo Trainer in my...

    Review 2020 Decathlon E-ST 520

We went out on Saturday and the wife seems to like hers, as I did take an Allen key with me incase she wanted it adjusted. Did a bit of a trail for a comparison to riding without this stem and she feels that this is kinder on her lower back. She is right on the bottom end of the weight for a...

    Rockrider e-st900 tyre recommendations.

Hi Gary, Fitted my 900 with Maxxis Ardent 27.5" x 2.40 and am more than happy with them. Best thing about them though is that my wheel now drops nicely into my wall bracket with a small flick of the handlebars. With the original tyres fitted, I had to push the wall bracket over the wheel by...

    Decathlon Rockrider E-ST900

Although Decathlon might suggest to tighten it up to 20Nm, it only states 10nm on the axle itself. When buying a new one, I would err on the side of caution and go with the recommended setting. Link below shows a similar sized axle that will go to 13.5Nm ...

How far do you drive with your bike?

We can ride in any direction from our house, as we live on the edge of the Brecon Beacons/South Wales valleys. However, I've just bought an old small van that I'm currently snagging/carpet lining/converting to take our bikes, so that we can start doing more coastal rides as we come out of...

    Review 2020 Decathlon E-ST 520

Went on 12 mile mixed terrain ride with the above XLC Suspension Stem fitted and she has given it a big thumbs up. ? Definitely more comfortable. I had a quick go of it and could feel it damping. Although not an expensive purchase, this has improved the ride quality.

    Review 2020 Decathlon E-ST 520

520 has been performing well for the wife and seems to climb really well. Been doing a mixture of trails, forest and paths over the last few weeks. What I have felt is that it seems to be a little heavier than the 900 when lifting it up through the X gates in this area that stop Off Road...
