All the traits I love about my EXe.

I am always struck by the difference between 20 and 28 is. 28 is really fast for my old bones.

I believe the difference between class 1 (20) and class 3 (28)

Currently Fox 36 with 160 kit and Float X stroked to 65mm. The extra travel is nice. Upgrades coming? Too early to tell.

What are you running. Fitment issues. Travel combinations. Hacks....

Wrapped mine in gloss Ridewrap. The gloss is the way to go- it would look funky with the matte.

My Garmin 530 has been invaluable for its Trailforks info and things like cadence. I tend to leave the TQ display to the wattages.

The bearings are sealed. The gap is purely cosmetic. Not saying it's pretty but its benign mechanically.

The TQ motor is a game changer for me. I struggle to even hear it most of the time. Combined with the low noise and low weight of my Fuel (what fuel?) EXe, I am quite smitten.

Perceptions is my guess. If the battery were dead and you needed a new one you just want the battery to put your existing brackets and fasteners onto it. They should offer two configurations, one for a spare and one for a replacement.

Take the two 2.5mm spacers out. You will need shorter flat head screws though. I recall them being M3. There is vid on YouTube that shows this.

I have one- little confused though- if you are getting full travel then that's the best you can do for lessening the 'steep' feel. I did stroke mine to 152mm and I feel it helps a bit. I also put a 160mm kit into the Fox 36 and took tokens out.

I was looking at the EXe graphic on the top tube when I wrapped it. It looked pretty baked into the paint and not removable. FWIW. If anyone can make me a matching 'S' I would love to ride a SEXe. That would drive my wife absolutely nuts.

With my Garmin 530 set to 9 data fields with auto scroll on, the amount of data being displayed can be distracting. I find that I use the dual current wattage screen almost exclusively on the bike. Interesting though that during boot up of the TQ screen I can see both red and green graphics...
