i'm not sure if it's the weight difference but the g2 ultimate stops noticeably better than the code rsc on the ff , maybe it's a fresh bleed but they definitly work better
with the smaller battery you might find you need the eco setting more and want the the 50 tooth vs the 11 sp 46 depending if you have steep stuff around you, or not.
no clue , i like the names
looks like the crafty r has better components-fork,shock brakes, wheels
similar geometry, better color scheme
both look really nice
I took the regular x country bike out the other day just to keep it honest and my heart rate stayed right down in the endurance range the whole hill, a couple years ago it would have been all over the place. I guess i'm just conditioned to spin more now.
I got 600 km out of an xx1 chain. The fancy kmc digital chain checker i have didn't seem to work on the 12 speed chain but when the old and new chain were laid out side by side there was an eighth of an inch stretch, apparently enough to effect shift quality.
the ranges of both bikes are similar when you use the extender battery. With the sl you may feel a bit more involved as typically you work harder but it is also more responsive with it's lighter weight and shorter chainstays
you can get a rough estimate of how much effort you need for a given course as well as how steep a pitch you can climb. I set the levo sl at 90 max to get up the same steepness that 50 will give on the levo. Perhaps you need to spin more on the sl. In order to get the same time on a 25 mile ride...
i was going down the staircase the other day not a care in the world next thing i know i went flying and landed with a thud and a sprained toe. Be careful out there
i don't like the sramm xx1 shifter or the rest of the drivetrain much. Did you switch to slx deralieur , shifter and cassette? I was thinking of this . I read the shimano hyperglide chain really helps but will only work with hyperglide chainring and of course there is none in the sram 94 bcd...
i went for the smc4 gel because i like being able to get behind the saddle and back on easily. The stock specialized was chaffing the inside of my thighs , the ergon i don't think about which is a good thing
