Without knowing your motor, its hard to give advise.
I have unlocked shimano both with chip and software, took the chip off for reasons I don't remember and am using software only to change region to USA. On the bosch bike, I resolved to buy another motor with 45 km/h and keep the original for...
My E8000 last words were: "E010"...
I think yours may not be gone yet, not without any error message. How many miles does it have? Did open the cover and check all the cable connectors?
To me, Oakley coating only down is that I can’t see the lcd on the car while driving. They are perfect for shadowy trails, but got to have some other lenses for drving.
Found these on aliexpress for 1/5 the price I’ve payed from factory they look like the original but one spins more freely so I disassembled to look inside the internals: axle, bushing, bearing, all look a lot like the original from the original contact chromag pedals too.
Check if its skipping to the upper (next) cog or stays on the smallest one. If its jumping to the upper cog, it may be the limit screw needs adjustment, but if it skips while staying on the smallest its because its worn for sure.
I Hope she gets better soon.
Today was my first ride after three weeks of rest fron a pacemaker implant. A year and a half ago I went through an open chest heart surgery also. Trust you’ll all be back home soon 🙏
How did you assure that the ceaking is not coming from other sources?
If you never did this job, starting with the most expensive bike that you have is not wise IMHO.
Go for an extra battery! I have been riding this way since 2019. With the shimano bike i have two 504 wh wich are now less than 80% capacity. On the bosch, cube bike, I use one 625 and one 500 with an adapter and this allows me to use the lighter battery on shorter rides and choose witch one...
Sorry, what I meant to ask is wether the motor maintains the overrun when you ratchet like that, because the motors I have do cut the overrun instantly when I backpedal, so that its impossible to ratchet like you did on that rut.
Does the bosch race keep pushing when you backpedal? I saw you climbing that rut and got curious.
I ask, because I use to make a minimal backpedal before shifting, as a means to have instant cut of suport and thus a smooth noiseless shift. This works with the shimano E8000 and bosch CX and non...
I have only once ridden a levo with an extender and it behaved the same as you described, the assistance got lower as the extender lost charge and when the main battery started it delivered full power.
Problem is that when you really need the walk mode, bosch push button does not work.
Two situations:
On very rough rocky and loamy ground, after fording rivers and needing to climb short cliffs where I needed to watch each step carefully, keeping the finger placed on top of a sensitive push...
