That's a nightmare.
Are you talking about last year's original price plus 20%, or are you saying it is this year's price (on the Italian and French sites) plus 20%?
Your reply will possibly mean a rethink for me too.
I agree. I'm looking at a M for the missus (5' 4" also) even though the sizing on the euro sites say it should be a small.
The only issue is the unknown standover height, although there is only a certain amount the seat tube can be shortened on the small due to the vertical shock.
I'm with you on this one, despite all the Brexit stuff. It will go up but, like you said, they have to pull off some inspired pricing/sourcing to keep it realistic (even in the drought).
Surely Decathlon will have worked out exactly that and will price it sensibly (Brexit aside) as they originally said they were wary of having such a high price on the original and linked to their bike site. I know it went crazy for it but cannot see them pitting the selves with the Cube 140.
I...
Bit of sizing help please. Looking at getting another Stilus (V2 for the missus) as mine has been superb. I would like to know if anyone has a size Small from the first/original version?
The Decathlon site only shows the geometry chart with data for M thru to XL. The write up /advice recommends...
Yup, been there, questioned that.
Just about to do it again as changing to Uberbike pads-16 quid for 2 pairs Inc postage, and they work.
AT least the caliper bolts won't size anytime soon ?
Fully agree with the advancement of the pads as per Avid instructions (se original Stilus forum/thread, I put it on there).
I hated the throw but this sorted it and I love 'em now.
I threw in a pair of Uberbike pads just to see how they performed (and save a few quid!), and I love them too...
Messaged them about links with Stilus frame/parts and possibly sending a parts list and order form for povots/bearing as well as hanger but only got a brief answer saying there were differences to the frames and left it at that ?.
Try the Sram Universal Hanger.
