Which supplier? I cannot find one to ship to UK from any EU country since the B word.
My missus wants the exact same bike in size S.
I spoke to a LBS owner today and he said I'd be looking at 18 months to 2 years!!
He did love the sound of his own voice though ?.
Any advice appreciated. BTW...
Cheers for the post, great to see someone be honest about "do you need the upgrade, maybe not" side of things. Got me thinking, we ll love new shine bits, but what about upgrading "Ourselves" ?). Sometimes the constant upgrades we see talked about (I know, this is an upgrade forum), can make...
Just an update on the bars I mentioned above. The bikeshop in Germany was brilliant and contacted me immediately DHL had sorted themselves out.
The Bars;
They are great. Sorted for quality, backsweep and rise-needed due to hand issues and now perfect 50 rise and 12 deg back. I know the 50 bit is...
Just a heads up re new parts and shiny bits.
Last week I ordered a set of bars that were only available from a German bike shop. I know Brexit happening, there was always a chance things could go wrong (seeing other reports of EU retailers stopping delivery to UK), but I took the chance as...
Agree with everything said . I've seen some riders wearing mesh trainers and shorts in the wet stuff, then giving the sealz a hard time (no clubbing jokes).
Try these. Available from ebay-worked for me after doing the rubber hose thing first.
M3 x 5mm CAP HEAD ALLEN BOLTS CAP SOCKET SCREWS A2 STAINLESS STEEL - DIN 912.
Probably spokes but check the pad springs as if pads are worn/worn uneven, you could be catching an edge of the spring. Mine was spring, my lads was spokes-worth a look.
Just a thought.
Thank God, yes it is ?. That was my first check while my missus looked on in disbelief. I only realised my thumb had gone when I changed gear and it bent in a strange shape ?. I have now rotated the shifter to a vertical position so I can still ride by changing gear with my wrist.
Lucky to have an "original" and it never fails to make me smile every mile.
Just hope for the punters out there that they don't knock the value for money the original one was. I would assume either slight price hike or drop in suspension/wheel choice is inevitable.
Nah, that's an old one I have kept for things like chainstay protection and stuff like that. I carry a tube under the seat though just in case.
Stans fluid and valves with gorilla tape is the usual MO for me.
Just an update for keeping the mud off main parts. I have been fiddling about with odds and sods I had laying around and comparing them. I have attached lots of photos of the best mods for mudguards I have come up with and it shows the extent to which it saves the bike and motor. The photos are...
Tried loads such as neoprene Velcro straps etc but ended up getting a crud catcher XL front mudguard-epic results and clip has not suffered since (nor my face) ?.
They release the battery not the cover. Youtube has a video on it that explains. It can be fiddly getting the battery in the first time but you'll get the hang of it.
The cover removes by pressing the button on the top of the cover and sliding down.
I take the battery out in colder weather and...
