depends on your fitness.
on my Levo with stock tires (light ones Specialized), quite often I was returning from my ride on a tarmac, doing 26-27km/h for 10km (and often having almost flat battery).
However now, I have DH tires front and rear and it'd be way more difficult.
unfortunatelly 25km/h...
... :( and it's not mtb or pushbike anymore - it's motobike/pedalec etc.
And at the end it'll hurt our community of e-bikes.
that's why some ppl or politicans put more bans on e-bikes later, demand insurance etc.
just ride more to feel the bike more.
Most important upgrades (for me):
* brakes (i've changed srams to saints (i'd do that on ANY bike)
* later tires: 2x assegai (or DHR2 at the back), possibly DH casing and inserts if you want to run lower pressure.
on mine, I've also changed fork to ZEB...
for last 2 weeks i have a similar feeling. Like sometimes motor gives normal power (I have 70/100 setting),
and then, for some minutes like it gives half of it...
and then, again, I put almost no input (<100W) and motor just pulls hard forward.
And also power (displayed on my garmin Edge) looks...
how did you get that warning? once, after 5-10 mins steep climb, mission control told me (when i opened motor details) that the temp was 80*C. but no warnings whatsoever.
Levo g3, doesn't want to turn on for first 5 mins after plugging it in (after charging).
reconnecting doesn't help (tried many times), but just waiting 5-10mins (With battery already connected) helps.
I don't see any moisture on the connector/plug or seals.
any ideas ?
...for Brits and other Peaty's fans ? :)
I read some reviews about sealant, expensive and behind other brands,
so for now I stick to Stan's.
What about other stuff? lubes?
I bought all-weather lube (was in a shop close to my place), smells mint, ok, but applicator/nozzle makes it difficult to...
enough is enough :) I have to get rid off Srams from my bikes :D
(I have SLX M7100/XT m8000 on my analog bike, and i'm happy with shimanos for last 10 years)
But, the questions is... which Shimanos... ?
Does anyone have comparison between new 4 piston XTs and Saints (power) ?
and where are Zees ?
Now I have Spesh Carbon Levo 2023, great geo, great bike ! (after adding Cascade long link and changing fork, which actually added another 1200e to a bike? )
I clocked around 2300km in 6 months, and I'm not riding lightly ...
However, never tried KSL or new Levo SL...
Can't agree....
this way, you can put any shock - not matching the suspension, like, linear spring to linear suspension, add A LOT of compression damping, just not to bottom out on every curb ....
doesn't mean it'll work well, even if you have 30% SAG.
mine (230x65)
around 180-185psi (77kg fully loaded)
LSR (i don't remember :D depends on preferences)
HSC 1-2 clicks from close (is it middle as well?)
LSC in a middle.
difference is LCComp vs Low Comp (L1)
both have 'linear air' - the same air can (which is the same with levo gen3 and the same Dave or me have with Long shock Link)
so this statement doesn't make sense to me, and talk 'geo doesn't change'
as it's CLEARLY DIFFERENT while I ride the bike ....
thank You for explaining how suspension works, Mr. Obvious :)
