more details please.... :) (not a link or word from cascade web page)
NOT TRUE... only if BB goes higher, there is a chance of keeping geo the same.
i didn't measure mine bike before the change (i was too excited :D )
it all depends what does it mean 'geometry doesn't change'.
if the BB...
So I have the same. (without HBO)
Works well. with compression damping in a middle, I can use almost all travel on bigger landing to flat (maybe i'll add volume spacer). SAG set to ~29-30%
LSC in a middle
HSC 1 from open
180psi
my weight for a ride is around 77kg
i used all travel during some...
you can also 'downgrade' / upgrade your drivetrain to 11s (cassette, mech, shifter)
PROS:
* can be cheaper (shimano freehub or XD)
* lighter
* rear mech is way smaller (shimano SLX/XT for example), less rock strikes
this is my setup
so, Long Link installed,
bike config: BB low, 2 x 29x2.5" Assegai, front -1* ZEB 170mm
BB is at exactly 36cm (with 230x65mm)
(however i forgot to measure before :/ )
It's not caused by one asymetrical strut, especially that shock (lower mount) can rotate inside the yoke.
It's the yoke that make the extension of a shock and put more bending forces (up and down).
Problem exists from the first yokes. Specialized Demo 8 2011, which was snapping coil shock with...
front - depends a lot on your riding.
I guess close to 20%, with more SAG, suspension will be supple, but not enough supportive on steep descends.
For bikeparks I put extra 5-10psi
for me, on some very technical trails i have here, make sense, as BB goes up by 1-2cm.
I hit plastic battery cover many times during last months, and it's 'in pieces', with a lot of tape on it (to keep it together)
Hey ! A lot of you runs coil shocks in Levo g3.
what would be the weight for 68kg rider? 400lb/in? 450lb/in? or even more?
and I guess SAG around 20% ? (as the suspensiopn isn't very progressive even with air shock)
exactly, that's the point.
I noticed that on EMTB is harder to keep the same intensity...
yes, you can do that, but you have to focus a lot. I had intense rides, but some of them are less.
maybe because non-stop climbs are shorter? dunno.
This is from my experience, I ride my Levo for 6 months...
As other mentioned, calories in/out ...
however, you can gain weight from muscles, they weight more than fat for example (for the same volume).
If you want to control and compare your activities, use some sports tracker (garmin or smth cheaper) with HR monitor (chest strap). it'll give you...
or climbs with flat battery.... :ROFLMAO:
(personally I've upgraded my eagle drivetrain to 11-46 11s)
less unsprung mass - better working suspension ...
(what's the point of mounting heavy coil shocks (I see it's quite common on this forum :) if other things hold back your suspension)
have you tried to ride without the battery? I guess I could disassemble battery and plastic cover (it's just 2-3 screws)
but then...how to attach that big bolt and plastic cover (that normally holds battery) .... :/ the thread is in a battery.
(I have few days with uplift)
