I had a similar issue when my cube was new. The stock chain ring was an ethirteen one. After speaking to cube and e13 it turned out to be a known problem. E13 contributed it too ‘a number of factors’ but ultimately supplied a new chainring with a 1mm spacer. So it was a chainline issue.

If your phone battery dies whilst you’re out the bike will go into a restricted mode. I’ve abandoned all the smart system features now. Was a pain not just being able to grab the bike and go.
i got my boy an electric dirt bike when he was 4 and that was a waste of money too. First time he lost his balance on it and dropped it on his leg he just wouldn’t touch it again. He got a 16” Revvi which was great but ultimately hampered his progress on a pedal bike. Same can be said for the...
I’m saying whoever told you that was just spinning you a tale because they didn’t have the correct answer. Think about it for a second, why would a bicycle need a tighter turning circle one way than the other? Even if you were commuting in traffic
The bottom cup even has a notch at 180° to the...
Sorry mate but that sounds like a load of bollocks to me. Why would an emtb, which is ambidextrous and mostly used off road, be adjusted for different countries? The knock block has just moved and not been checked before sale.
The fact the shop have no knowledge of this is worrying! There is a ‘knock block’ headset installed to stop the forks hitting the frame when turning. Mine went off centre. You can just turn the bars with some force and push the knock block around.
Try searching for your answer first. There’s...
It came out by hand in the end as I was scared to put too much pressure in there! Some air definitely helped though.
Forks are back on the bike but the damper side wouldn’t torque up as the damper just spins? Will keep an eye on it to see if it leaks.
Only put in fresh oil in the end. Seals...
So the bike is almost back together. Rear shock is serviced, although it didn’t look like it needed it. Those white washer are a pain in the arse! Frame is back together and motor/electrics back in. Rear wheel has had new wheel bearings and I’ve just topped up the tubeless sealant. It was done...
I ditched my connect module and will be refitting the powunity biketrax I had before. It’s more discreet, has the option to increase back up battery size, can track at any time and runs off the HPP port so you can fit anywhere on the bike with the right length cable.
I bought a fork service kit from tftuned and it comes with their own oil. My fox forks should use 20wt and from what I’ve read on line the tft stuff is 15wt. Will this be ok?
Anyone else used this oil before in their fox forks? I’ve bought the 5wt Teflon stuff for the grip damper.
not certain with the Orbea but on my cube I had to buy a ‘bcm ready’ cover. It has extra room for the module.
I don’t torque the lock ring on the crank either as it’s LH thread and my torque wrench won’t do that. I just use a little bit of loctite and do it fairly tight. I have stripped a lock...
I had read somewhere that they have various plants and where it’s built might have something to do with quality issues. I’ve spoken to numerous people with problems ranging from poorly fitted interiors and panels to steering and braking failures! My friend pulled up in his, new to him, 3 year...
