depends what sort of stuff you ride. if you are doing long all mountain rides all the time, probably not, if you are bikeparking and taking on drops and jumps, its worth it.
I have a lyrik select+ that I upgraded air spring and damper to ultimate, its a far, far better fork in every way. I...
I've never had better customer service than from Specialized. I get amazing customer service from Berkshire cycles where I bought one and the same from RaceCo where I bought the other.
I've had mates with 10 year old bikes, the frame breaks and they still have original reciept, spesh replaces...
every time this happens with mine, its the cassette, there is a spacer behind it that breaks and the giveaway is that the smaller sprockets move independently of the larger ones.
just get a new spacer if thats the case before it chews your freehub to bits
a fella I know from online bought a levo from them recently.
brakes the wrong way round if you are in the UK and it came without a charger.
spesh sorted him out a charger asap
he saved about a grand.
so, just gotta decide if its worth the trouble plus not having local bike shop backup
been there a fair few times and agree, would add that a bit of rain makes it grippier on many trails and deadlier on others..
was at popty ping during the heatwave recently and it was scarier in the dry cos it was just so slippery, when its wet, you really get some decent grip.
most of the...
the reds are brilliant.. I think hotstepper is my favourite, wibbly wobbly is probably the easiest with surfin bird and vicious valley also being good fun. lots of the rest are hard work or just plain terrifying.. I find insufficient funds like that, far more perilous than it appears.. but that...
did I say that? I have never uplifted at BPW just because im too tight and have 2 batteries..
however, you will find you have more energy for the downhills, it can take a lot out of you in the day just riding back to the top. but you still have the eeb so if you wanna session popty ping or the...
@Rob Rides EMTB seems to like his Strive ON and it looks a killer bike.
personally, I would have the strive with the bosch over the shimano motor.. strive has a larger battery too.
but im not a freerider.. just an occasional nervous jumper ;)
I run 32-36 psi, I live in Wales which is very rocky, I do as many visits to BPW as possible and my rear BB doesnt look like that.. I can go as low as 28psi but any less and I always burp the tyre.
I weigh 104kg before I get dressed.
what do you weigh?
beg bettys are like that, I have the harder version and ripped the side knobs right off the other day, you can see the canvas :D but your problem is that you are probably just hanging on the rear brake too much, wrecking the braking edge.. wouldnt worry too much, loads of life left in that...
agree, my valves have flat rubber seals and not a cone design, this means when you tighten it down the rubber 'tacos' and I reckon lets the air under the tape.
was gonna buy Peaty's rasta valves cos they look sick !
