Ok, thanks.
I'll have another check of the battery pack although it is at 95% charged at present so shouldn't be a problem. The cables, harness and switch all checked out fine on the bench with the meter.
Thanks for replying Vadll,
I can't get STUnlocker to run without the motor powered on. At the moment the screen is black and the power will not switch on.
Etube project will switch on the display and run with its own power via usb but I can't change the EU region and circumference with that...
I've been running my EP8 rs with region changed from EU to US and 85Nm/ 500W for past 18 months and it's been working great. I originally use android STunlocker pro with 4.0.2 firmware to do the changes then put it back to V4.1.8.
Last week I reverted firmware to v4.0.2 and changed tyre...
Just put deposit down on pl pro 800Wh model from 1st batch.
Dealer reckons end of Oct for delivery but when quizzed about other dealers expecting 1st batch at beginning of Oct he said they will all get them at the same time and beginning of Oct was too optimistic/ or BS. Hope he's wrong.
30t is the smallest size specified in the blue paper for the Rise, but I don't think anyone makes a direct mount chainring in 30t.
You may be able to flip the chain ring over so the writing faces the motor to correct the alignment. The Funn chain guide might fit then.
I've seen lots of reports...
My UK Rise came from the factory with rear brake hose, dropper cable and display wire all routed through port on the RH side of the head tube. UK bikes have the rear brake lever on the left. I removed the gear cable from the LH side port and blanked the hole off when I fitted AXS derailleur.
I use the Zirbel shifter with my AXS. Flick up with the thumb to change up and flick down with the thumb to change down, simple. It's also silky smooth to operate, and wear free, due to the magnetic centring 'spring' and Reed switches.
The 2.2kg 360Wh rise pack is more likely to be 10S3P 18650 cells IMO, probably the same chinese made Panasonic NCR3350GA 10A cells as the H range extender uses. The weight and capacity matches 1.5 x range extender near as. Sanyo NCR18650GA 3350mAh - 10A - Green - 18650 - Li-ion - Rechargeable...
Mudhugger FR fitted backwards on rear wheel. This works really well to keep the linkages and switch clean. I trimmed what was the curved front of the mudguard to a straighter shape.
I use an ass-saver lightweight thing under the seat to keep my back relatively clean an dry.
Thanks, for posting the weights. Your rear weight is similar to my Rise rear wheel weight with Chosen hub which weighed 1073g before I changed the hub to the heavier 410 Shimano.
Can you let us know what the weight of the individual wheels is as delivered please. I'm considering a set of these.
My Rise rear wheel with knackered Chosen freewheel is at my local bike shop having the hub swapped for a 430g Shimano fh-410b
Just had my hub fail on my H15 at 9 weeks/ 300 miles. The freehub locked up and the chain was rotating with the wheel instead of freewheeling. I've stripped it down and managed to free it off but it's definitely toast. The freehub itself is made of cheese and the pawls have eaten there way into...
I screwed the board and battery holder from a standard AXS shifter to a strip of fibreglass board. The Zirbel link on the following page will give an idea of what's involved. Technical | BERG
No, I need to slow the 'bike' down slightly in 1st gear and still keep the cadence above about 70 rpm.
The 32T is good for 28mph+ on the down hill bits which is more than I need.
Thanks for the comments guys, I was hoping for a one piece chainring rather than a 104bcd one but it looks like they don't exist.
I find the 32T a bit too fast over very steep rooty bits or other technical climbs with steps for example. If I slow it down with the 32T the cadence drops out of the...
Does anyone know where I can get a 30T chanring for the Rise H15?
I'm find it slightly over-geared with the 32T on some of the steeper more technical climbs.
The blue paper says its specced for 30T but I haven't been able to find one yet.
