Bafang does make batteries like the BT-F014. The Bafang catalog lists all the batteries they make. Without canbus you will only see the estimated remain charge on the display. Just ask LInda or Jean of the Ft-014 will fit the CEF50.
You need to ask for the ship name and date of sailing. Then there are apps on the internet to track marine transport. You can also get status info at the ports website it is coming into.
Also not charging to full capacity increases the lifespan.
"For example, a lithium-ion cell charged to 4.20V/cell typically delivers 300–500 cycles. If charged to only 4.10V/cell, the life can be prolonged to 600–1,000 cycles; 4.0V/cell should deliver 1,200–2,000 and 3.90V/cell should provide...
"There is a direct relation between the depth of discharge and the cycle life of the battery. The shallower the DoD, the exponentially higher the number of cycles given by a battery. By restricting the possible DoD in your application, you can dramatically improve the cycle life of your product...
You can't forget that the chemistry of the batteries do not allow low discharge without damaging the battery. The batteries are expensive enough that I won't trade long life for low discharge.
I am sure the DJI is going to be an expensive motor. Frankly the M820 does everything I had hoped for. I love this bike. The original promise of a short burst mode would have been nice tho.
I am not sure where they are getting those numbers. Lets face it, it is a 250w motor. The question is can you get two 16g wires in one of those sockets with a solid solder job.
Since you are not charging and using the external battery at the same time you can probably get away with that. But you need a connector that supports big enough wire for the current required and the connector is not going to be designed to solder two wires to the same point. You don't want to...
With all due respect. If you know so little about ebike batteries it is not safe to try and build one. They are very dangerous. One mistake and you could burn down your house.
On my Orbea there were spyders that could replace the direct mount chainring. That would get you what you want. I don't know if it is available for the bafang motor. But it would be logical that it is how that picture of the road bike with two chainrings.
