    Powered up mine for the first time tonight. I seem to have the wrong firmware, it says the speed limit is 15.5mph. Any others seen this? Also my go+ app doesnt seem to allow me to change any settings other than mph or kmh. Do i have the wrong app?

    Missing a gap pad is just a terrible design but what does that have anything to do with a cold motor? Or are you saying the motor housing being cold is caused potentially by a missing gap pad? That i agree with, thats why im hoping to get some pics to troubleshoot.

    Can you explain what that means cold motor has no thermal path to cool correctly? Seems like that violates the laws of physics

    Wow this does sound like a thermal issue. I thought people were having it stop working completely. Can you limit peak power in the Go app?

    For those of you with the torque sensor issues, were they all 36v models? Overheat issue should have a time and effort component to it though. One of the guys doesnt work at all right now, thats not thermal protection.
