It sucks to have to pay to fix a design flaw, but ebike motor center can upgrade the Brose to be more resilient: Brose Motor Upgrade Service - eBike Motor Centre (Performance Line Bearings)
Thanks @pietro :) I turned down a used 2022 Levo Pro this week because I got cold feet about the reliability of the Brose motors. Now I’m back to eyeing out the 2023 Wild so it was interesting to hear your thoughts.
Ahh, thanks! I'm surprised in a way to hear that the Fox 38 is harsh, because I hired a Whyte E-160 RSX at the Forest of Dean 2 weeks ago that had a "Fox Float 38, Performance Elite 29", 160mm Travel" and it was by far the nicest suspension setup I've ever felt. I'll admit though that I've been...
Cool, thanks :) A friend showed me the Vioma but it looks like too much bike for me.
Almost every review I've watched has said that the Levo's stock brakes are insufficient, so it's a bonus that they've been upgraded already. I would have switched out the stock tyres too, albeit not for...
Hey,
I am very tempted by the Orbea Wild (2023) but this upgraded Levo Pro Gen 3 popped up recently and it’s got me interested.
Would anyone mind commenting if it’s a good deal? Link
Thanks :)
I genuinely don't know why we're arguing about this. The Orbea Australia website literally has a 625wh option available for the Wild. It would have taken you very little time to confirm this. Gw0175 confirmed it too by even buying a bike with it.
Perhaps it's not me who needs to man up...
Your hostility is unwarranted since I’m trying to establish if the Wild is the right bike, and a 625wh option is available for the Wild.
But, to appease you I’ll think about creating a new thread for my question.
It's a really tough decision whether to go with a 2023 Rise with the 540wh battery or the 2023 Wild with a 625wh, both in carbon.
Dunno if I'm gnarly enough for the Wild, but at the same time, I don't want to feel short-changed on the Rise at places like Afan Forest.
