On previous bikes that had just 6mm allen key tightening rather than a lever I used a torque wrench set to 10nm in order to get an idea of how tight it needed to be........then replicated that with an allen key thereafter. I really dont think its critical.
If the axle is just an allen key type you tighten to c 10nm. If the fork is being used for the first time the pinch bolt is loosened, axle installed and torqued, then the pinch bolt tightened ( c4nm) . you should not need to touch the pinch bolt again a fter that.
First off I use silicon shine on my frame and wheel rims and that helps to stop mud etc sticking.
My bikes live indoors so I have to do enough cleaning of the bike after a mucky ride to bring them in without making a mess. They sit on a fairly large area of barrier mat so they dont have to be...
The state of the pads may not be due to oil contamination. I only ever use sintered pads and they can, and do, go black if not bedded in correctly. It is also the case that it is well worth while cleaning both pads and rotors on a brand new bike, especially if bought fully assembled. The rotors...
maybe add some advice on prevention as well??
ANY spray application anywhere near the bike can contaminate both rotors and pads. If you are going to use a spray ( whether lubricant or silicon shine etc, use rags or shop towel to cover rotors and callipers first. After cleaning etc a bike, use...
What controller do you have on your bike? Is it the handlebar mounted LED Remote? Did you get any fault code.......orange colour on the large led?
Have you checked for fault reports in the Flow App?
Any well maintained 4 piston brake set......Xt if you like more of an on off feel....sram rsc if you like more modulated feel. One feature I would not be without is adjustable contact point.
Personally I have code rsc on both my bikes. ( Whyte e160RSX). Front is largely maintenance free, rear...
I have to say the fact that both battery and charger were faulty, coupled with the fact that the bike was only used to cover less than 700 miles .....but the warranty had expired......... so in 2 + years, maybe even 3 years? .........raises some red flags.
There is a reason why a lot of...
Anyone interested in an Endura Singletrack Bib Liner? I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have worn it twice ( ps not worn commando......Under Armour compression shorts underneath). It is size large and I usually fit that size from Endura in shorts/trail pants/ jerseys etc but whilst this...
there is ,as always, a danger of assuming those that contribute to this forum are representative of the wider market for EMTBS. My guess is that 90% of the folk that comprise that market have never even heard of the Amflow bike or DJIs involvement and nor will they until/unless the bikes turn up...
just to save some of you guys some pain....both nose and bum hairs are there for a reason!! Just cut off any annoying/protuding excess. Now eyebrows are a different matter altogether!!
Just to legitimise this post ......I just bought some ergon GA3 grips to help alleviate recent onset of right...
Firstly, the cause of your problem was more than likely the chainring coming loose, potentially meaning it was not correctly fitted.
I personally believe a steel chain ring is a better bet on an EMTB. A SRAM chainring is an option. You need a "boost" direct mount chainring ( 52mm chainline)...
the biggest trade off with more power is more heat and more heat means a bigger heat sink/bigger engine casing/more weight................or an alternative like an oil reservoir!!
Seems to me Bosch err on the conservative side and let any new development go through a market test period before...
check the hinge side.....many gates are merely hung on pin type brackets and if not welded you can just lift that end off the gate off those hinges and swing the gate open enough to get through.
