I just chatted with Jean. The Bafang 410wh is still delayed as they revise the end mounts on it - no ETA. I also asked about the 340wh in house battery TCFlowClyde refers to above. She said they are not doing that and only other Battery is a Bafang 360wh. Not sure where you got that info...
can someone post a picture of the top tube on/off button? Curious what they ended up spec'ing there as there was some debate well before any of the frames shipped.
Has anyone that ordered a frame with the Bafang 410wh battery had theirs shipped yet? I'm still waiting for them to get batteries (likely the redesigned model)
have you tried to see if the Bafang Go+ phone app works with the M820 using bluetooth? I wonder if the motor will be configurable from this or other app
I can't remember exactly from when I got quotes (painted vs non-painted) but it was super cheap... something like $25 or $30 more. Can't even do a crappy rattle can job for that amount
They sent me a picture of my frame... painted (Porsche "Chalk") and waiting to be sent next week. Should get a few more pictures of it once assembled in the next few days
that's 22.2mm. You need 22mm (according to their engineers). Looks like they have them in 22: RockShox Rear Shock Mounting Hardware - 3-Piece, 1/2", 8 x 22.0
they sent me those same pictures. So I posed a very specific followup question as to what size bushing to buy. They checked and engineers said 22mm. You can see on those pictures, the opening is 22.2mm and bushing size is 22mm. Guess they factor in tightening?
Quick search I see locally can...
I asked about the shock mounting hardware. The openings on the pivot and lower frame are 22.2mm. They say to get 22mm bushings and the hole is 8mm. So M8x22
here's some cheap ones: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DF0RqL3
I considered doing it myself but their factory will do it for super cheap (I think it was something like $25 more to have it painted). I provided them with a pantone colour and details of how I want it done (i.e. want the pivot unpainted/black).
In fact, they just called me to confirm if I...
there certainly seems to be a driveside hole on the stay for derailleur cable in the very first picture of this thread. You can also see it very clearly on this picture they sent me of my paint mockup
